If my country was impoverished and I was seeking asylum in a new country - I think I would assimilate in the best way I knew how, I don't get how these people can pack up and illegally move to your country and go as far as to disrespect you by refusing to speak your language and adapt efficiently? You would think people would be so greatful to finally have a second chance that they would do ANYTHING to repay you. It's the same problem here in Australia.

It makes me very angry when our schools are making cuts because of the budget, yet they still offer enlish as a second language classes. If I were to move or visit another country, i would learn at least a minimal amount of the native language. I have seen many families come here, have children, but refuse to teach them any english until they learn it in school. Come on, five years with no effort?

I've recently heard that approximately 9% of the population from Mexico is here now. This is nothing but appauling!

This has greatly affected my town. They have taken over processing, manufacturing, and construction, to name a few. And those so called jobs that "they will do but we won't?", they won't do them.

Hey we have loads of legal immigrants in our country who refuse to abide by our customs and laws (England). We have preachers of Muslim hate who stay here under the asylum law. They cannot be deported because they would be executed in their own country.

This is a subject that takes a long time to discuss. I will say that the majority of us here are here due to immigration, so...with that said, do I think immigrants should be legal, of course, but there are many shades of gray in this situation. I would probably run across the border if I was trying to save my life or looking for a better life...and once I felt safe, I would try to become legal....:-) Just my worthless 2 cents...:-) xoxoxo

I am hispanic, legal and a minor. We (my family) were all born here in the United States of America. I am 100% American. My dad works for Homeland Security. He gets to travel the world to deport immigrants back to their countries. All Countries. Lash out on your Government and don't assume all hispanics are uneducated and illegal. Americans are just as bad. Why do you think we have this problem anyways? By the way I think you mean Law Breakers! Brake is like the brakes in your car. :D
