The word Haka is a type of dance. The traditional Haka the all blacks use is called KA MATE.. but people just call it THE HAKA. Many haka are composed by Maori all the time 4 many reasons, they are not just written for sport challenges. This new haka, Kapa O Pango was composed especially for the all blacks. The common haka they use (Ka Mate) was composed centuries ago by a Great Maori Chief of the Ngati Toa Tribe.. it tells his story of his survival and evasion from the British Imperial forces.
