America gives 1.5 million dollars in Aid to Egypt, most going to it's Military? , That's not Aid that's keeping a Government in power. corporate America Does not care about Egypt's freedom it does not care about humans, unless they are it's resource. The West has been trying to influence the Middle East ever since the first Crusade from the Holy Roman Empire. After the discovery of oil, it was British influence during and after WWI. Later, after WWII, and Saudi Aramco, it was the U.S. who tried to influence Iran by putting the Shah in power. Saddam Hussein was our man and we backed both sides during the Iran/Iraq war. We then gave him the green light to invade Kuwait, so that we could counter his move and put U.S. troops on the ground.
