This is probly the best performance she's done off the ceremonials stuff.. and one of the best songs off that album too.. but I miss the way she useta be, no matter how quiet the song was she'd be moving about or twirling randomly or hoppin up n down.. even when she was still there was like some latent energy wantin to explode.. now she's so restrained or something, even her hair is flatter :P it doenst fit the likes of this r shake it out :/ to her credit voice is a knockout even like this tho

@hallinanmatthew It's probably because it's Jools Holland's show and if you look at the videos she did at last year's Hootenanny, she was pretty restrained then. I'm sure she'll be back to her usual self soon! :D

@hallinanmatthew if you watch the whole Jools Holland later show on BBC iplayer Flo & Isa are dancing at the side to the other bands. I think the stillness is just a performance choice which definitely adds to the power and poigniancy of the delivery

@nik418 Yeah that crossed my mind, it would fit with what Ceremonials is about... the darker post-Raphaelite chanteuse-y thing. as opposed to lungs being all feral and punky. I hope when she starts touring it's more like it used to be though. it's great she can do poignancy as well but I'd prefer the adrenaline filled dancing 8D
