  • .sciencedailydotcom/releases/2010/04/100415085317.htm

  • In 2010 scientists identified a gene that actually determines hair growth...true fact....I knew there had to be something genetic, so really, hair growth is genetic

  • I agree with you. Our hair is protein and is enriched by vitamins and moisture so a well balanced diet plays an important roll. Ppl do forget or don't even realize that.

  • I have noticed that a lot of black women on you tube with long hair care videos, seem to be skinny or thin. Which means they eat the right foods, which aid in their hair growth. Not saying all. I would say 8-10 are slim and in very good shape.

  • I agree with you and I believe she would as well. I have went through a time period where I was doing everything except taking care of my body. I experience hair growth but also experience hair breakage. yes your hair will grow regardless but whether it retains the length already there does depend on diet and exercise in addition to all of the things kimmaytube suggests.

  • YOU SOO RIGHT!!!BECAUSE OF HERE I WENT NATURAL!!!!!NOW ITS BEEN 6 MONTHS AND MY HAIR HAS GROWN SOO MUCH WOW CHECK IT OUT @BEAUTYFASHIONTUBE !

BTW YOUR REALLY PRETTY LOVE YOUR SKIN...SHARE THE SECRET!!!<3

  • hahaha! i love you and love this. so true. it's about a way of life, not just random results.

  • LMBO!!!!$

  • Hahahah omg I needed that.... WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH!!!!!!!

  • yeah ... she works out hard - very slim.... working out helps your hair grow too...

  • Lit26 just made a video about this! Saying kimmaytube's had short hair for 9 years while 'taking care of her health' she makes a good point check out that video

  • whip my hair back and forthhhh!

  • *thought! Hmph!

  • I've often tight the exact same things you said in your video!

  • one other difference is age, the older you get the less moisture you have all over your body and your genes too some people have the ability to grow hair long just because of their genes.

  • I agree with your views fully! Most of the things we do to achieve healthy hair and general beauty is topical and at times we totally fault conditioning ourselves internal. Internal health equals complete beauty. Great video.

  • Yaaayyyy...New channel to subscribe to! Love the provocative title. Caught my eye, and made me watch. I think you are right on with your point, and I'm sure KimmayTube would agree. She definitely seems like someone who s pretty together in taking care of herself. I'm jealous of THAT more than her HAIR! LOL! And you are super cute! Like Sunny Gummy, from the Gummy Bears...I know..random... :-)

  • Whiiiip my hair lol

  • Lol right

  • @Aoscadin I am correcting, but does not her YouTube name say' 'Nluvwgod' the lady should not mind, I am correcting her, from sinning!

  • @Abbakidd Sinning?!? What are you talking about? =\

  • "whip my hair back and forrrrrrth" lol

  • Thank you for such a candid discussion of health and wellness. Adopting a whole foods diet, exercising, sleeping and H2O intake are the cornerstones of our health that so many of us decide not to honor. Hopefully your video will prompt more discussion around "holistic" health within the natural hair community. I'm hoping we can understand that positive lifestyle modifications are more than just a means to an end ( i.e. long length),but a road towards overall optimal health. Thanks for Posting!

  • I'm Natural almost a year, and I've watched some of these vids-never heard of this Kimmay...But if someone has taken the time to sit down and dedicate a whole video to her...A stranger...I GOTS to find one and watch. What is she? Youtube Royalty or something? My goodness.

  • Best takeaway message: "If you want something that someone else has, you have to be willing to do what that person does to achieve it." YES!

  • @SuperDrumline24 great quote. i think i'm gonna steal that one for my own use

  • I really like your video's perspective on how you see what can be adjusted in your hair goals. I notice for myself that when I am on a focused path other things seem to come to my attention that would benefit my goal if I took them in hand also. Definitely focusing on complete wellness, moderation, and discipline across the board is the best way forward whatever our goals.

  • lol! my boyfriend's computer does the same thing!

  • i hve eaten unhealthy and healthy cut my hair, had a baby etc. and my hair grew at the same pace as it did when i was on and off of my diet. the only time my hair was really affected was when i was pregnant which it grew 1"/mth with no maintenance whatsoever and i lost it all plus more not to long after i had my baby. other than that if your extremely overweight or extremely unhealthy that would affect your hair growth otherwise it shouldnt! but dnt worry haters dont kno when their hating

  • its like your tryin to make an excuse to make yourself feel better and come to terms as to why her hair grows and yours doesnt.

  • I think people who do youtube video is giving options on what works from them.. Just like you are ASSUMING her diet and life style. You may be right and you could be wrong. I have a question for you..are you a certified notorious are education in anywhere to talk about diet and hair growth? Just like you said you are sick of people giving people options....but you just did.

  • do not use God's name in vain please

  • @Abbakidd Do not impose your religion on others, please.

  • Comment removed

  • Vitamins are definitely good. When our bodies act up, It usually is from a deficientcy I spelled that wrong even down to a common cold. You also don't have to do strenuous exercise either.

  • well she def works out....and the way she speaks of things it seems she is very goal oriented and goes at things from all possible angles...so I don't doubt either that she eats healthy :)

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH! IM CRACKED UP LAUGHING IN THE FLOOR! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • ????talking to yourself more than us?

  • this is so true....if you think about it, one symptom of eating disorders is hair loss.

  • So does that mean no more pizza:(, I really want a pizza right now..:( lol jk I get your point though. eat healthy. , dont stress so much, and take care of that hair.

  • lol I love Larry

  • Thank you so much for making this video. You reminded me to eat more protein. About to hit the gym and after that buy some cottage cheese and yogurt :)

  • This is soo true! I think people need to stop worrying about how long their hair is and think about if it's healthy or not! Is it breaking off? Is it thinning? I'm sure the people out there with allopecia or hereditary baldness would trade a head full of thick, healthy SHORT hair for what they have to face everyday! Just sayin....

  • This has an element of truth. But there are lots of women who eat fast food and do not exercise, and still have very long hair. My best friend is one of them. I guess if you are experiencing slow growth, then a change in diet is necessary in combination with a change in haircare.

  • You are telling the truth! After I sat up here and ate a whole bag of candy. I am going to monitor and improve what I eat. I am also going to invest in vitamins. I am going to work on working out as well. I was just thinking of this today. Thank you for confirmation!

  • @icz2010 You are correct. You really are what you eat!. Nature made is a really good brand of vitamins. check them out.

  • Great observation. I am so glad to know someone else had the same thoughts. I stopped worrying about my hair growth so much and started focusing on diet and exercise for health reasons. But I have to say that for the last 4 months of a dedicated workout regimen (strength exercise 5 days a week) I notice a difference with every aspect of my well-being, including my hair. Concerning Kimmaytube, I thought the exact same thing. She's fit, and her skin and hair are beautiful.

  • How do you start off saying you hated watching videos where people were just throwing their opinions at you, and then proceed to make a video based a great deal on your opinions/assumptions of kimmay? -_-

  • @Writerchic1 Its actually not my opinion or an assumption. If you watch Kimmaytube's vids, she talks about her lifestyle. She works out often and eats well. She openly attributes the health of her hair and the growth she experienced to haircare, as well as her diet and exercise. No assumption made. I'm merely stating the facts.

  • you are hilarious!

"oh yeah put some bleach on your hair! ok! i'n going to put some bleach on my hair!!"

  • Yay, Jimmy Fallon! Love him :)

  • Comment removed

  • Very true

  • I here what you're saying however, I have been up and down the scale during my natural hair journey (16 yrs) and I have not noticed any significant difference in hair growth.

  • lmaoooo!!! that song was perfect thought it was about hair i cant stop laughing lol

  • Lol..Your VERY FUNNY,and you're also right,I've been going natural for about 9 1/2 months now,4 months ago I went on a healthy eating diet thingy for 2 months ....just fruits and veggies no meat, bread,or dairy...it was hard but after 2 weeks I saw a big difference in the length of my hair, nails, and skin,I LOVED IT,Now meat makes me sick,I eat it MAYBE once a week,Very rare,N E ways what You said was definately the truth, thanks for sharing!

  • I feel like most people can grow long hair if they want to.

  • This was a cute video and I have to say, I couldn't stop laughing at the demon in your computer! Hilarious. You looked so perplexed!!!

  • such a good video...ur so right...i constantly have to remind myself of this fact..

  • You say that it bothers you when people give advice without the proper knowledge behind the fact. But then you make a video based off assumptions.

  • @MsThinkingcritically Thank you! I totally agree

  • A demon named Larry! LOL TOOO funny! Good info! I appeciate the perspective. I'm new to natural and really needed to hear this. I kinda knew that but needed to hear this!

  • @lanae8 If you read and educate yourself about genetics then you will know that your terminal length is predetermined. This is a fact that you can read about in various sources including the book, The Science of Black Hair. IF and only IF you use impeccable hair care practices and eat healthily then it is possible to reach your terminal length. Not everyone's hair will have the potential to reach the same length.

  • much true most people I see with really long hair are skinny... look at homeless people they always have long hair.. not the healthiest but long.. wait now thinking about it they don't eat the best but sill have long hair huh.. guess it about not touching it and leaving it stretched out and leave it alone... people bck in Jesus did not have all we have and they had long hair.. to me it's all in the genes

  • Thanks Bri and all the other ladies who made comments. I am new to YT and just stumbled across your channel and had to check out this vid...the title intrigued me. I have been watching Kimmaytube and love her. But you just confirmed what I said in my video about getting your body healthy. Thanks again for putting git in perspective :-) xoxoxo

  • The vids that these posters provide are nothing more than guidelines to help get us started. As individuals we have to experience with products and techniques until we find something that works for us. I've gotten info from Kimmay, Naptural85, among others, and I've taken bits and pieces of info from each one and come up with my own routine. Bottom line, it's all in how you care for and maintain your hair.

  • Kimmaytubes regime will not work for me. I live in the desert and my hair needs water at least every other day. I detangle with my fingers. I am very strict about my diet thanks to my father who was very much into a healthy diet. I leave towards vegetarianism and I take multi vitamins. Excercise; moderate activity. Yes, I believe in a holistic approach to health.

  • fresh perspective i think. and i like your accent lol

  • @naturesbloom1 I have an accent? lol

  • @Nluvwgod You do have an accent, but it's very light. It pops up from time to time and the rest of the time you sound regular. I can give you examples if you really care.

  • @Nluvwgod For me it's like Southern American, I'm from London btw

  • Your hair grows regardless! Let's stop buying into the myth that our hair doesn't grow. Take care of it and you can retain length. Simple.

  • @divinenikkit I haven't bought into the myth that our hair doesn't grow. I have family on both sides with hair down their backs. I, for one have noticed how my hair has reacted when I devate from a healthy lifestyle. Genetics are a factor in hair growth, but diet and exercise play a large part as well.

  • @divinenikkit EXXXXXXXAAAAAAAAACTLLLLYYYYYYYY I couldn't have said it better

  • You are sooooo right!!! I did notice a change in my hair growth when I was maintaining a healthy life style.. Thanks for putting things back in too perspective.

  • Sooo true girly! Thank you..

  • Kimmaytube may eat, excersise, and take impecable care of her hair. I like the way she comes from a place knowledge in her videos.

I am sure that eating well helps the hair and nail, but I am one that eats what I want and my hair ans nails also grow fast and healthy. I really think genetics have allot to do with this too!

  • "I'm almost willing to bet one of my cheerin" LMAO!

  • Twiggs and Leaves ROTFL!!!

  • I agree, preach sister. Stress plays a fact in growth too.

  • I guess I've never understood why some women are so jealous of long hair. I've never ever had a problem growing my super thick type 4/ab hair. Just wait... and take good of your hair and it will eventually grow. Also if you have type 4c hair check out Cipriana. Her hair is SUPER long. Yeah I do eat a organic and vegetarian diet and work out, but I have not always (in middle school and a few years in high school)- and the difference is negligible. Also... you can still eat 80% dark chocolate!

  • @ubiquitousfacts who's jealous? I used to have long hair before I had children and before I stopped eating healthy.

  • Our hair and nails are the last place to receive the nutrients we eat so if you think doing all of Kimmaytube's rituals but not eating healthy and exercising is gonna work.............................sike!

  • Hair grows regardless. That is not a new concept. Of course leading a healthy lifestyle will improve your efforts. It's not impossible to grow hair or be health conscious. But, you got me--I watched this because you had a catchy title. So, you and kimmaytube are somewhat alike. Just somewhat. ;-)

  • I love kimmaytubes techniques & she bases most of her information on science & facts. I follow some of them. I know that I'm not as healthy as kimmaytube but my hair is well and long. It has a lot to do with genetics and care. I'm fat and my hair grows just as fast as someone is thinner and eats healthy. My hair probably would grow faster with better health but it grows fast now. Hair growth is an individual thing but we should all focus on hair care. Being healthy is nice too...God Bless!

  • ....there are two black women at our church that have hair just as long as kimmy's an both of them broads are fat...one of them constantly talks about putting sugar in every thing she eats.....

  • @TRENZ2 LOL!!! love this comment!

  • This is so true. You can look at some of the earlier videos and see this to be true. Great video, lady.

  • LOL!!!!!! Oh ma GOSH!! That was hilarious...whip my hair back and forth lol!

  • I get what you're saying...true!

  • Oh my gosh! I am laughing to tears right now. Your laptop was trippin' hard.

  • LoL!!!!! So tru!!

  • I'm natural and my hair is long my hair just grows fast for some reason i dont let it stay lone because that is just too much trouble all that washing and detangling my diet is ok i drink an ok amount of water so people are just different she said that your diet your genetics she said all those things so what is the purpose of this vid.

  • i am so weak at "the devil" lmao

  • bwhahahah!! "because you're ridiculous, that's why!! Love it! Beautiful hair btw :)

  • Genetics have a lot do with your hair structure and growth. A healthy diet is good and I can't see the harm in it, however I know people who don't exercise or eat too well and their hair is fine. To me males have really nice hair when they grow it out. And I noticed that they do some things that we don't do. Men don't play or manipulate their hair as often as we do. They will keep their hair braided and they will use products that are around the house what ever their mom or sis is using. Simple

  • BWHAHAHAHA! Whip my hair back and forth!!!!! LOL!

  • I am LOVING the pink lipstick! I just bought some and was like "now what do I do with this?"

  • Thank you!!! A Wellness Touch thanks you! This is what my soon to come Natural Hair & Skin Care Salon & Spa is ALL ABOUT!!!!!

  • So are you disagreeing with kimmy's ph Balance ? you are going round the point...I think kimmy tube is smart woman and she doesn't tell us the whole truths plus i hate that everything she does has to do with promoting something she is selling...SHE IS CRAFTY

  • @nokiwe7 I disagree based on the evidence - she had a channel offering free advice for like more than a year before her accessories store even opened. She's smart but crafty implies she's sneaky or sly. She's been upfront since day one that she is a business woman so I don't see an issue.

  • @nokiwe7 Honestly you sound jealous. Kim has helped most of the natural sister's on YT with her fact based and very informative hair tips. She is intelligent and recognizes that she can profit from her hard work. She basically gave the world a free leave-in conditioner that she could have otherwise kept to herself and made hundreds, if not thousands of dollars selling. She is a blessing to the natural community here. We need to support our black sistahs instead of trying to put them down!

  • @nubian05girl That was hilarious!!! hahaha.

  • so right..when it comes to wanting what someone else has...not coveting..but you have to study how they do what they do...I just listened to a book cd by Dave Ramsey called "Total Money Makeover" and he was saying, "if you want to be rich, study what rich people do." Well, I want to be "hair rich" so I am really taking in what I hear from people who know what they are talking about as it relates to hair growth...

  • great video...I have noticed that when I started doing hot yoga and drinking more water and supplementing meat protein with tofu and veggie proteins, my skin hair cleared up and I am getting better growth.

  • so true...you hit the nail on the button!!!!!!!

  • I totally agree with you. Diet, vitamins, water intake, sleeping enought, avoiding chemicals like alcohol and processed foods, avoiding stress. Even some necessary medication can restrict hairgrowth. HOWEVER, there are people who do none of the above and have very strong hair that grows to good lengths. I feel that we need to take care of what we have (our bodies) and be disciplined which is what Kimmaytube def is. A disciplined and meticulous sistah!! Love your vid xx

  • wow

  • Preach!

  • I've learned that genetics can play a role in hair growth just from looking at people in my family. My neice has ALWAYS had long hair. She does not care for her hair like that and her eating habits are not that great!!! I have been taking really good care of my hair and I am really more conscious of my eating habits. But, my hair has not grown like hers!! Also, you have to take into count your growth cycle. I prefer to not compare myself and wish for someone else's hair.

  • @Ravenpriestess Totally agree!

  • @Ravenpriestess Age also plays a part. Notice how little girls hair grow faster than older women's hair. The rate of growth changes as you age.

  • @shatoyta2000 In my family hair growth rates vary. In fact, some of the older women have thick, long hair. While some of the young people may have longer or shorter hair. It depends on how they care for their hair and genetics. Textures also vary in my family. My growth rate has been about the same and by the way, I am not an "older" woman. I am in my 30's like Kimmaytube and I have type 4a/4b hair. My niece has always had type 3a long hair. She had long hair as a toddler.

  • @Ravenpriestess I agree about genetics and hair care. I read an article about age and hair growth. I just read that it plays a part. When I said older I did not mean old. The article started with a women in her 20s, 30s and so forth. I hope I did not offend you. I did not say that you can not be older with longer hair. Example: The article said that a person in their 20s can grow up to an inch a month and someone in their 30s can grow say up to 3/4 of an inch. I am not trying to discredit

  • @Ravenpriestess Again, I agree with you. But they come out with new information all the time so if I read something, i try to share thats all. Hair does not stop growing, the article just says that hair rate changes as We age. I am no spring chicken by the way. lol

  • @Ravenpriestess the first thing i have to tell you is that you are right, genetics plays a role in everything, its why white people skin is pink and mine is not, but the one thing i know about, more than anything is that the diet you have cannot equal the diet of everyone, EVERY PERSON CANNOT EAT THE SAME THING AND GET THE SAME RESULT, IF THAT WERE TRUE YOU COULD TURN WHITE HAIR INTO KHEMETAN HAIR IN A MATER OF FAT BACK AND 3 MONTHS IN THE SWEAT TENT.

  • I think you hit the nail on the head with this video. Thanks lady.........

  • Amen!!

  • Thank you for mentioning healthy lifestyle! As a hairstylist this is the main thing that I tell my clients. Healthy haircare starts from the inside out! Taking vitamins eating veggies and fruit and drinking water is key in having healthy hair AND skin!

  • re the yt member you mention in your vid appears to be very, very disciplined to say the least. it's also apparent that being so is what works for her.

  • you look like kimmay seriously

  • Great vid! You are too pretty! :)

  • I would agree with you. People need to figure out what may inhibit hair growth. It could be so many things. But it has to be specific to them.

  • What you are saying is true....but on the other hand, there are people who don't eat well, don't exercise and have long strong hair......of course, taking care of yourself is never a bad thing, but that is really not the only factor in hair growth. Some folks can do all the right things and still not see the kind of hair growth Kimmaytube has experienced.

  • Very true! You're pretty. :)

  • LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OMG! THAT WAS 2 FUNNY 6:29 - 6:54

  • LOL that song was FUNNY!! UR reaction was so priceless too ! Awesome vid!!! Now Im gonna HAVE to committ to exercising daily and eating rite! lol! I am sporatic w/it but I will do it rite and see what happens.

  • LOL!!! To the whip my hair back and forth music!!!

  • What you are sharing is very very true. My hair grows extremely fast and i am vegan, i eat well and workout. taking care of yourself entirely defiantly has a huge impact on your hair growth.

    Wonderful video girl. Very informative.

  • True that. If you don't take care of the inside you won't get anything for the outside/hair growth.

  • You are so right Nluvwgod! You have to take care of your body! period!!!! Healthy skin, hair and nails will follow.

  • excellent video!

  • Well I've been eating well recently, I hope this helps - though literally I had lots of junk food last weekend and I noticed a ton of breakage, I am reall sure that this is just a coincidence since the substances from junk food can't penetrate into my hair that quick - (can they??) Anyways thanks for stating this, it's a holistic approach that's necessary, we need ot become healthy, and healthy hair grows long anyway :)

  • Totally agree!

  • @TheDanzy876 rate, thanx for messaging me so that I could clear up any misunderstandings. PS: KT has also specifically stated that her hair grows at a rate .5 inches per month. Mine does, and I believe that with a minimum of healthy hair care and realistic expectations, anyone can have the same rate of growth and length retention.

  • @TheDanzy876 want naturals to know is that when they - and I - admire youtubers like KT, we should be realistic. We should realize that we don't need to exercise heroic efforts in order to achieve the same beautiful, healthy, long natural hair that we admire and aspire to. Rather, we should realize that with time, and a minimum of healthy hair care, we can have the same exact rate of hair growth. I have it, and I want others to have the knowledge as well as the growth. At any

  • @TheDanzy876 actually achieve the maximum growth rate. So again, here is the point I was trying to make: KT had approximately 6 inches of hair when she started her healthy youtube natural hair journey. She's been on this journey for 2 years. The average hair growth rate is .5 inches of growth per month, or 6 inches per year. Add the 6 inches KT started with to the 12 inches she's achieved over the past 2 years, and it makes sense that her hair should be about 18 inches. What I

  • @TheDanzy876 rate, what I stated in my original comments had nothing to do with what proportion of KT's life that she's been natural. Rather, it had to do with looking at the growth she's achieved against the realistic background of how long she's been natural. In fact, my comments have nothing to do with KT per se. Rather they have to do with us naturals - especially us relatively new naturals - maintaining realistic expectations regarding the growth rate of our hair and what it takes to

  • @TheDanzy876 years of her life) +11(KT being natural since 1999) = 21. I could be wrong, but I assume that KT is in her late 20s to early 30s. Let's say she's 30. That would mean that KT has been natural approximately two thirds of her life. So I apologize. Instead of saying that KT has been natural "all of her life". I should have said that KT has been natural approximately two thirds - or most - of her life. At any

  • @TheDanzy876 Hi TheDanzy! U're right - I should have been more specific. So here goes: I assume that KT was born natural. Although I do know that there are a few parents who relax their toddlers, I assume that KT like most of us, probably spent at least the first 8-10 years of her life natural. KT says in her vids that she's been natural since at least 1999. Again, KT says in her vids that she discovered youtube natural hair care in 2008. It is now 2010. Let's do the math: 10 (1st 10

  • @bionca22 Hey! I totally agree with what u commented on this vid, and I think that u might be interested in reading the comments I left on this vid as well. In them, I addressed the issue u brought up in your comments. I'm hoping that there's something in my comments that u can use, and I'm interested to see what u think.

  • inches of hair every month without going thru so many hoops and hurdles to get it. Happy growing!

  • and personalities and to take these into account when we are deciding what info we implement in our own hair care. Above all, I feel that the easier it is for us to achieve maximum healthy hair and hair growth, the happier we'll be, and the more likely we are to stay natural. For those of us who want, or maybe even need a more complex hair regimen, if we choose to do it, then we have to do what we have to do. But I want other naturals to know that we can grow and retain that .5

  • better care of her hair. Looking at her hair around that time, she had approx 6 inches of hair. Doing the math, the 6 inches KT had, added to the 12 inches she should've grown over the last 2 years adds up to about 18 inches of hair. KT has even stated in one of her vids that her hair grows approx .5 inches per month. I go into detail because I want as many naturals as possible to look realistically at the youtube naturals who inspire them. I want us naturals to understand our own hair

  • any particular healthy foods. So far (for the last 16 months), I've consistently achieved and retained that .5 inch of hair growth per month. Although I'm a minimalist, like many naturals, I'm also all about hair growth and healthy hair. So while I will listen to advice, I'm constantly analyzing the success of the advice giver. In KT's case, she's been natural all of her life. According to her, she discovered youtube natural hair vids in late 2008, whereby she learned to take

  • @maximuslyricus a little correction Kimmatube has not been natural all her life!!

  • advice she gives to the results she has achieved. I've learned that the average hair growth rate is .5 inches per month. I've never had really long hair, and I do very little to my natural hair. Specifically, I poo it 2-4 times per month, moisturize 1-2 times per week with water & oil, and wear protective styles. I don't use special leave ins, conditioners or other products, take vitamins, exercise regularly, nor eat

  • Hey Nluvwgod. I agree that holistic living is the way to go for healthy hair, minds, bodies, etc. No one can argue with that. But I've taken an avid interest in discovering what is the minimal care we can give our hair in order to achieve the maximum health and growth for our hair. I do this because I think that the less one has to do to achieve a goal, the more likely one is to make the activity(s) a never ending life style. Therefore, when someone gives hair advice, I compare the

  • Whip my hair back and forth...LOL

  • I hear you and totally get your point, BUT I know a lot of fat white women with LONG HAIR, with black women I feel like we have to jump through hoops just to get that KimmayTube length! It's crazy!

  • Yes! It's a whole body thing. We have to take notice of what we eat, drink, the stress level, exercise, etc. It all effects your hair. I notice when I eat better, it shows up in my hair and face. I think she talked a little about working out. (especially when it comes to drinking water)

  • OMG scary laptop!!

  • LOL @ "Larry"!!

  • Excellent point! Thanks.

  • I agree.....point blank

  • While I was watching u'r vid earlier, I thought about Kimmaytube and how u remind me of her. I'd like to add 2 what u saying about paying attention 2 our diets. We really need 2 watch our stress levels. U can eat the right things and still have health issues because of stress. Especially ppl of color need 2 pay close attention 2 this.

  • Awesome point....BTW, you reminded me of Lloyd, LOL!! Tell er'body...WASSUP!

  • @Nluvwgod, Check out themoptopmaven's blog

  • @Nluvwgod, I've been researching flaxseed, and I began taking it. I couldn't believe the difference in how I felt-the energy, my brain was a lot more sharp (it's normally sharp by the way) but it's even more sharp now that I am taking flaxseed. Of course, with all things we have to do our research as I did mine. Great video! Keep it coming.

  • @Nluvwgod,

I wish there would be more videos on not just what to do to help our hair grow on the outside, but what we can do on the inside. I love Kimmaytube's videos-she's very knowledgeable and backs up her info up with scientific evidence. Great Video-keep it coming!

  • @Nluvgod,

I completely agree with you. Having a balanced diet, exercising, drinking water are all great components to healthy hair growth. I find that when we learn about natural haircare it forces us to learn more about our overall health. Great video! Excellent Choice!

  • very good point.

    Stay Beautiful and Strong ;-D
