You know, now that I think about it, I think a lot of American Sega CD games were recorded(or re-recorded) by the same group. I had this and Final Fight CD, and the bass(Especially the bass funk) and guitar sound like the same musicians.... Huh.

I remember testing that cheat that if Sonic waits for 3 minutes whilst doing nothing, he would end the level. So I did that on this level. It was just spooky, the music made me think that something was going to jump out at me, like a screamer.

This one at least sounds different from the present version. The JP/EU version is the same as the present version but with slightly different pitch, speed and different instruments.

I actually prefer the JAP version of this song, the vocals got me. This is still a great song, and it's more mysterious. Saying "this song isn't awesome" is bullsh*t though, I can't hate a Sonic song, maybe just annoying vocals in Sonic Rush, but never the songs.

I think this version is more appropriate as a bad future, the loud heavy guitars and bass give off a feel that the place has now become a much more dangerous and  darker place.
