  • I'm making this recipe again for my family because they are coming to visit me this weekend. I love this recipe so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMFG DOSE ANBODY ELSE NOTICE HER EXTREMLY WHITE WHITE WHITE WHITE WHIT SPARKLY TEETH! xD i mean really there like mini star's all sparkly and white and just..??? OUT THERE

  • Ha! Awesome! Recipe sounds delicious, and u r cool! XD

  • I think we're used to truth in advertizing...the recipe sounds great. I may have labled the vid "Faux refried beans" or "Fake-you-out" beans. Nice job.

I thank you for not harmming any beans or "mexicans" in the making of this vid.

  • Yup, I'm making this tomorrow. Thanks for the vid!!

  • Raw means real foods and not using things with ingredient list. Agave is not really raw, its made using high heat. It's not healthy or good for you at all. Contains no enzymes. It's not a viable raw food.

  • Typically all seeds are soaked before a recipe because it aids in digestion. Also I love your channel and this recipem but agave isn't truly raw and if you have to use something use honey. Agave makes you fat. Agave is metabolized by your liver. Just because its raw doesnt make it healthy. Its whole fructose

  • Im sorry but yur personality is too annying to follow the recipe.

  • what is the song in the background?

  • oh wait, it's not a bean, nor is it refried? It's basically sunflower seed butter burritos. Um.... okay?

  • Aloha,

    This looks delicious!!!!

    Are the sunflower seeds soaked?

Can you please send me a more accurate recipe, I am making this for a raw food potluck?

    Mahalo!!!

  • HOLY FRIJOLE BatMan, she forgot the beans in her refried beans. FTW?

  • Sad how there are so many haters out there. Welcome to Cali Andrea and ignore those haters. Is there anything we can sub the agave for in this receipe?

BTW Great job....... I love your wonderful energy... keep it up!

  • I just cannot say enough how much my husband and I love this! We actually look forward to having these at least several times per week! Thanks again for posting this awesome video girlfriend! :) (((HUGS)))

  • YUM! thank you. My husband and I are transitioning to raw living foods and this week I lost motivation and you have inspired me with this recipe. I'm making it tomorrow, thanks a bunch :D

  • sooo gonna try this!

  • cooking is about food ... not you !

  • Thank you. I just started my 21 day raw food quest. Im here looking for easy recipes and I think this one is a keeper. Thanks again.

  • I thin yu should have named it differently as it has NO beans you shuld call it eg. raw alternitive to re friend beans..

  • @WhiteChocolut It never ceases to amaze me how hateful and mean people can be....Where do you people come from? FOMAL...

  • @primmitiv LOL

  • @primmitiv they come from wal-mart

  • @primmitiv I know exactly what you mean.

  • Refried bean flavoured seeds is a more accurate description as there is no cooking involved.

  • even cooked beans are difficult to digest....i cant imagine with raw beans!

  • If you watch the video, you will notice I use sunflower seeds, not beans.

  • @primmitiv haha yes get people together! I really like the way you host your shows...it's chilled and not forceful or fake. :)

  • Why don't you cook it?

  • Because it defeats the purpose of maintaining as much nutritional content as possible!

  • OK, never thought you could eat beans like that. I always cook the shit out of it so it doesn't taste like beans. Doesn'it it taste rubbish?

  • Personally, I enjoy them. I am sure they aren't for everyone!

  • The irony of the situtation is that a lot of food that 'tastes good' (which taste is mainly an acquired attribute, anyway) is total shit; and what people believe 'tastes bad', is great for you! Lol. You decide which side of the fence to be on =D

  • I'm not on any side of the fence, really. But I don't want to be accused of not trying new things, so I'll have a go at this way of making beans. Who knows, I might never eat cooked beans again :)

  • There are no beans in the recipe, just sunflower seeds =D

If you're looking for something closer to authentic refried beans, I can send you a more 'accurate' recipe, however it takes more time and ingredients to prepare. I like this recipe because it's really easy for most people to make and has a minimal investment in ingredients =D

  • Oh man...that looks rawsome, I am going to try this for sure!

  • Hi Andrea. Great recipe! I just posted a video response of some healthy vegan aduki sprout wraps that I put together. It's not raw (it's winter in Canada!) and I don't have the rockin' music, but the wraps turned out pretty awesome.

  • HAAA, Your awesome, love it!

  • Interesting.....all vegan too good stuff

  • This is so loud

  • i wish my girl would cook good stuff.

  • nice piercing

  • Im going raw baby yer!

  • love ur energy! reggae music is good any time! Dont listen to the negative ppl loooove the videos!

  • I know, right?

There are plenty of boring, played out chefs on youtube that don't rawk music....holler at them!! This is FREE information, don't knock it!!!

  • uh...thats deffinatley not refried beans. and im glad i dont know her cause she is fuckin annoying. i just want a quick recipe for some goddamn fuckin refried beans

  • I never heard reggae as mexican fiesta music... it had a good beat for the food processer and recipe instructions.

  • Beans, even when soaked/sprouted, retain a starchiness and don't lend well to taste unless cooked. This is a raw recipe, so I used an ingredient from which the same texture and a similar flavor to that of beans could be created.

  • Why don't you just use real beans? Are beans not vegan?

  • wouldn't it be better to call it burrito instead of a Wrap?

  • Tomato, to-mah-to =D

  • Eh, i guess it does make sense

  • Did you soak the sunflower seeds before you processed them?

  • I'm new to this. This looks great. I will try it.

  • i bet those burritos taste like shit

  • awesome video!

  • You rawk! WWay to go on taking the first step =D Once I get situated out here in California, I'll be making MANY more videos and teaching a TON of classes, which will be videotaped as well =D

    Much Luv,

    Andrea

  • your simple recipes have inspired me to eat more raw foods...i am vegan and eat fairly healthy, but i just ordered a dehydrator and can't wait to get started. i am definitely doing this recipe and the one for the cinnamon rolls!! please keep the recipes coming, andrea!!!!

  • wow, i love your energy. How can you be so off the wall.

  • miso and cummin are not really Mexican condiments.

  • And sunflower seeds are not really beans (do I feel a connection here? Yes! I believe I do)! However, they do combine to acheive the desired texture and a good flavor =D

    Thanks for the feedback,

    Andrea.

  • i love it, do you have a recipe for Christmas stuffing? that is one thing i miss the most,

i tried to make it with a thousand things, and it just turns out gross..:)

    thanks

  • This reminded me of stuffing.. From Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine: 1C Soaked Almonds 1/2 C Soaked walnuts 1 C olive oil (fo real?? they were like drowning.. use maybe 1/4-1/2C) 1/4C Leeks 2 Celery stalks/pieces 1T sage 1T Marjoram 1T Thyme 2t Celtic sea salt Homogenize nuts w oil. Finely chop & stir in leeks, celery, Haaa-erbs, & salt. Roll into 1 1/2" balls & dehydrate for 2-3 hours at 145F. Serve w Marinara Sauce. omg.. that was awesome, like cranberry almost! If you beg, I'll post
  • thank you, i will give it a try def..:)

    thank you very much

  • Heh. Cool. Good vid.
