There aren't that many great things about the 3.0 software yet, I agree, but just recently I lost my iTouch and when I got it back, someone had restored it. So I lost the jailbroken stuff, which is half my applications, and alot of the rest couldn't be copied back to my computer because it needed 3.0 software. Like Facebook, for god's sake. So yeah. :)

im rockin the 1st gen ipod touch and i went through the whole process, i got everything set and went through red snow and my ipod was on downloading jailbreak data for like 8 minutes, and i never saw the pineapple. it just reset and went back to the plug into itunes screen. HELP!!

dont follow the instruction writtin in there.... remember press the home btton first 3sec then press the power btton together with the home btton for 10sec then release the power btton contenue pressing the home btton 30sec. remember you must know where is the home btton and the power btton or else you wont get it.
