headphone sockets haven't changed in 50 years. They are a proven legacy piece of simple technology that has no moving parts. The cheapest, nastiest Mp3 players in the world usually get this right if nothing else Only Apple could fuck you weenie ipod gayboys in ass by making a turd of their headphone connector. Losers
i tried doing this and i ended up completely fucking up my whole ipod everything works excepts the touch screen the volume, home, and sleep buttons all work its just the screen dosent respond anyone help?
didn't have a suction cup so I cracked my screen in the corner while I was getting it off with a screwdriver :( at least I can try fixing the audio problem, i think it's more important than a crack in the corner.
sick...thanks yo...my screwdriver wasnt small enough though so i just stuffed piece of business card behind jack keeping it tight to bottom of ipod...
$60 ipod touch + 1 youtube help video + redsnow = good shit mang
wut do i do if the screen doesnt work anymore??? i think its bcuz i accidentaly unplugged the tiny ribbon wire at the top left of the ipod... plz help!!!
thank you i had this problem i could only hear the music one side. then i opened it don't know what i have done but now it works. thank you very much. saved a lot of money I don't have
another thing u can do is push the earbud jack in with some force and spin it multiple times till it works(wrked with mine) If it doesn't work just watch this vid.
@kcm88 :O My right side of the ipod had no screws either! BECAUSE it was hidden by the rubber stripping that is under the screen! I had to cut it off to show the screws!
hey i tried to do the way u said on here but it didnt work but if u use a philips head and carefully use it on the rubber part on the itouch around it will pop out with no damage. i tried it 3 times today cuz im tired of hearing right only.but the problem is making the sound stay on the left side. so imma keep going until its fixed but thanks for the tips :)
