Thank you for posting this video. I made a huge, obscenity-laced stink on Neko's fan site about WMC pulling this video off youtube. You have re-ignited my faith in humanity. (I know that is too much praise, it's not like you landed on the moon, but hey I thank you just the same)
Katharine Whalen is definitely a woman. If you can track down a copy of the band on "Sesame Street" she is VISIBLY pregnant. She and the guitar player were married and had a daughter.
OMG I never noticed. However, I do remember first watching this and thinking what a strange yet pretty looking girl, you know pretty in her own way. Well, I am sure it is comforting to know that one looks good in either sex...congrats to him.
Love this song, this video, and this band....but I thought for the longest time that Katharine Whalen was a dude in drag, just based on how she looked in this video. lol
I don't think the 90's were all that great for music. Not saying music is good now though, but things haven't really changed too much in the last decade or so.
oh and LOVE the sax solo.

Listen to the lyrics at the Twinkie part..."Teeth are extruded and bones are ground
Then baked into cakes which are passed around."

I first heard it done by Velvet Love Box at a local (cough) eatery. Wow.
Great band, both of them.
