@djfran123 buy it now at gamestop for $15. It has hundreds of hours of play time and is a great game overall and very addicting. So far there is not known much on how awesome Dragon Age 2 is gunna be with all the changes and story line. I think Dragon Age 2 is gunna be good but with less replay ability. So buy Dragon age Origins cause its cheap price and awesomeness :D

I can't really get myself to buy/play this game because I fear it's too much like NeverWinter Nights. I played the second one and that game became soooo boring because I had been repeating the same shit over and over and I finally just gave up after I had been killing dudes in Neverwinter for about 3 hours when I just said to myself "Fuck This Piece of Shit!".

The combat only changed a tiny bit when I lvl'd up and got a new spell.

It's also a bad idea (in my opinion) to put points into constitution for a tank. That was a misconception I held when I started playing. Dexterity is much more important for a tank, because it increases their defense score. At high levels they become very hard to hit.

Do you have mana clash? It's one of the best spells in the game, even if you have to get some mediocre spells as prerequisites. It can insta-kill almost any enemy mage, and even kill boss level arcane horrors and such if you have spell might and other buffs on yourself.

good commentary wings, one little tip that i found helps loads on harder dificulties, try to teach your mage Mana Clash, use combat tactics to make him target nearest enemy mage with it, it wipes out the enemy mages mana and deals huge spirit damage, i'm talking 200-400dmg usually 1 hit KO a mage. just thought this might help a little as you said enemy mages hurt your team alot.

Dragon Age on the console is shit compared to the PC. A lot of modern games have very little difference between systems, but Dragon Age is different. The PC version is x100 times better. Party management/skill utilization is far superior.
