head voice is basically falsetto without the "airy" quality, with full occlusion of the cords, like a spooky ghost hoot...if you do a yodel--it's when you flip...that's head voice, i believe...
by the way, who is this guy? like seriously, i'd like to read up on his focus and training. To me none of it sounds wrong, but with respect to what kind of sound he's trains people to make, it's important to know. Is it just choir sounds? Opera? Musical theater? 80's rock?
I actually work with a lot of Rock, Blues, R&B, soul, folk, and Jazz bands and singers. Not big on opera and musical theater anymore though I have clients at San Francisco Conservatory, Curtis School, NYC Opera and Broadway. It's just not exciting to me anymore and though I have proved that it can be entertaining, I find myself forcing myself trying to like it. Plus, there's almost no money in opera anymore. Thanks for your comments!
Bio: James Meny has taught the middle voice technique for years. He is also trained in the opera & classical vocal styles & has studied under Seth Riggs, who teaches stars like Josh Groban & Stevie Wonder.

Absolutely worthless video. Thanks for pointing out the obvious.

The only problem with experts village is that their videos are way too short.
I think it would be a lot better to concentrate all the 1 minute vocal videos in just one .wmv and save people a lot of trouble.

what is the purpose of making the video soooo short? then we have to go to the other videos, 100MB limit is not utilized efficiently here
