@TheHammertimeable It was against what looked like a bunch of schoolkids... i think he will find it a LOT harder to run through an entire premier league defence... (unless it's Blackburn)
believe me people he is lacking a lot. he is dangerous due to his pace but thats it. he has to work on the tactical side of football. and also improve his basic touch, dribbling and shooting. i think his shooting is particularly poor and for a right footer playing on the left side you need a shot.
Nothing can really be said about this guy now, except that he has a lot of talent. But there is still needs some improving...comparing him to ronaldo is silly, he does have a similar style to him but he's not quite there yet
I think he should be given more chances then he we would be able to make a better judgements
@JaggedEdgeGamer he isnt on chamberlains level at the moment. theres a lot missing from his game. he isnt really a natural footballer he needs time and experience
Don't underestimate the Japanese football. See how many got transfered to Europe this year. The J-1 league and Japanese high school develop many skillful players their only problem is about their size and many coaches were snobbing them because of that. Now that they all seen what the Dwarf's team of Barcelona could do they finally turn their eyes toward Japan
plus i just looked through some others of him and hes good but not consistent 98% of ronaldo's games he was amazing and one of the best players on the pitch at the time
this kid got done over by defenders loads in this video and he's playing at such a shit level, ronaldo was destroying some of the best defenders in the world at the same age if you think hes the same level you should have nothing to do with football ever.
No matter what, I like the way the kid dribbles the ball. He must have something inside. But yes, I must admit that he's still very young and needs a lot of skills to be improved.Very best of luck with his career. * RESPECT*!!
@ErikV007 messi CANT´T do a step over in a sprint sorry he havn´t5 skills he´s the best dribbler in the wold but thats all the rest is ;/ yes messi is ver good but dont have skills ^^
@kas120587 I'm not saying anything bad about Miyaichi. I'm just saying each of those players were already good when they came to Arsenal, just like Ryo.
@7JamieFoxx7 Lol you act like messi doesnt know how to do step overs.. im pretty sure he can do step overs. he just doesnt need them to beat a player or 2... or 7
If you think this player will be better than ronaldo then your deluded. Ronaldo scored two goals on his debut with sporting when he was 17. Scored his first goal for united when he was 18. Ronaldo got his first intenational cap at 18 and scored his first goal when he was 19. Ronaldo was at a much larger level than Miyachi was at 17 and 18. I fucking hate Ronaldo but this guy is not on the same level at all
@xViiPeRZz mate it's all about opportunities. If ronaldo scored 1 he missed 10. But he was given opportunities constantly. Ryo hasn't had a chance to really challenge himself but i bet wenger will probbly give him a chance this season.
@Mave432 Definately - he went to trials in Feyenoord Rotterdam at 14! then was suppose to get signed by arsenal at 16 but something was wrong with the visa or something sohe went on loan to Feyenoord Rotterdam and played half a season and played brilliant. THIS KID HAS BEEN PLAYING AMAZING SO FAR-GOOD LUCK TO HIM
@Mave432 agree with u though i think the better way to explain is that ronaldo being protugal had more of a chance and ryo and ronaldo at the same age are in the 2 out of 3 biggest clubs in england, now what matter is if ryo continues to work hard and get into the first team though it will be hard with oxlade chamberlain to compete with
@xViiPeRZz i agree with you, but also would like to point out that Ronaldo played in Portugal a much easier league to be noticed by large clubs. Asia is no where near the same for players of quality to be noticed. The only opportunity they have is when they play for there national team, and as I'm sure your aware, Portugal is better than Japan. So even if Ryo was as good as Ronaldo you would never notice him as he would not have the same caliber of players around him as Ronaldo did at Portugal.
you never know bro....wenger is good at develloping players....when fabregas started ,he wasn that good ,same with van persie and wilshere....wilshere was even lonaed many times.....you never know with wenger..he knows how to devellop players
@kas120587 Fabregas was amazing when he came to Arsenal, and one of the biggest prospects at Barcelona. He even played first team football in his first year. Van Persie has always been good, don't know where you're getting that from. And Wilshere is an amazing talent that was developed at Arsenal since his childhood. He was always good, just young and developing.
bro i have been watching arsenal since i was 3....since 1991....I know everything about arsenal and ryo is no different from all arsene wenger developed talent so far...Ryo came from a small center of formation in japan ....the kid have been in europe for two years give him time....wilshere,van persie and fabregas werent immediatly playing like that in their first three years at arsenal..give the kid time...
@xViiPeRZz I hate people who base on people's skills by statistics like you. I've watched CR7 since his debut in Sporting, yes he was exceptional but he had way more opportunities than Ryo Miyaichi has. Miyaichi is scoring and giving assists in the reserves league for Arsenal right now. I'm not saying he's better than Ronaldo, but you never know how much this kid will grow. Watch your mouth as well.
@xViiPeRZz Wenger knows talent when he sees it and he definitely knows how to make players use their talent. And this guy has talent. With Oxlade Chamberlain, Wilshere, Ramsey, Szczesny and this guy, we have some of the best young players around.
@xViiPeRZz You obviously did not watch Ronaldo when he was younger. He was the exact kind of player as Ryo is right now. Who cares if he scored... what 3 more goals by this point in his career? When Ronaldo first joined United he had absolutely no end product and all he could do was his step-overs to the corner flag. Even if Ryo does not develop into the kind of player Ronaldo is now, if he is anything close he'll still be a star.
I Agree he wont be better then ronaldo very few will be, However you need to climb out of ronny's arse mate. you hate ronaldo but you no about his life story. one word discribes you .... Joke
LOL @ these comments comparing him to CR7 and Messi, you all must be delirious from the 8-2 footballing lesson United gave you ;), his balance looks poor as he looks like hes going to fall over before the ball even comes to him lol and he dribbles in straight lines this guy is all hype, has the potential to be an established PL player but nothing more as he certainly isn't getting anywhere near the dizzy heights of Ronnie and Messi but hey just my opinion.
@tfiraz you are one uneducated retard, aren't you? Arsenal picked him up straight from high school, he didn't even play semi-professional/ professional football in Japan. He wasn't even going to play football as a career, but a baseball player. He's not like Messi/Ronaldo/Rooney who were all playing football when they were young. He just discovered that he had talent. Give him time to make an impact you cuntfapper.
@aSH0GUN What does anything you have said have to do with what I wrote? Answer: Absoloutely fuck all, idiot. Who is the uneducated retard now fuckpig? Retorical question by the way as the answer is clearly YOU, doylem. -_-
I see that a lot has been said about RYO! and comparism have been made, if your are talent spoter and look closely to his talent, the close control of the ball, his effortless step-overs, i can safely say the player remaind me of the legend ZIDANE. Look at ZIDANE and RYO movement and please tell me if i'm wrong or right. This is a reborn in a Japanes version.
The last clip is just great. Defender cluster round from everywhere, but he makes it through and is free on goal. Poor defending, but great skill from Ryo. Im excited to how he will manage the Premier league. Great buy from Wenger.
This kid will be an arsenal legend as long as he stays away from dirty teams like birmingham wich shouldnt be a problem because there relegated, shame.WA YOU GET FOR BREAKING EDUARDOS LEG YA DIRTY FUCKS,excuse me there, just a little rage is all.cant wait till arsene winds this kid up an lets him rip up the prem an the world!
damn it pisses me off when people compare young players to superstars and say dude this guy ios the next ronaldo the next kaka etc. i mean PLEASE concertrate on them and don't call them other footbaler's names. because when these young stars retire people ain't gona remember : this guy was back then the next ronaldo, the will remember this was miyaichi.what if his style is like ronaldo's ? im a fuckin dribbler myself and i take pride in it.so what ? do i have to be called the next ronaldo? cheers
looks fuckin sick and hope he plays like dat next season for us.....but uve gotta remember we dont kno the level of the people hes playin against in this vid....is he really that good or are they just that shit???
@mfkmfk dominated by the big four? Which four would this be? For years Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd have been in there but what about Man City, Spurs, Liverpool and even Newcastle? They've all been top 4 clubs within the last 10 years. EPL is split into 3 sections... Top 6, mid table and relegation struggle.
Nobody is comparing Ryo to what Ronaldo is like now. People are saying the way he dribbles is just how Ronaldo used to at Sporting CP when he was the same age.
Can you imagine ... Van Persie up front, Ryo on the left wing, Walcott on the right, Nasri and Ramsey in the middle ! Jack Wilshere just in behind ... With plenty of training and more experience could be one of the best attacking formations in the world !!!
This guy is more clever than ronaldo was at this age. He is a very clever player, and although he may not have the skills ronaldo did, his head will get him to big places.
@SuperLFC7 you cant compare ryo to someone in the peak of their career playing in spain, he is equally as effective as CR was at his age, goals aren't the only thing that you judge an attacking player on. he as just as much flair, and uses skill in a more effective way, hes a team player not am individual who dives and cries on pitch!
Looks to be a promising young player in the future but the next ronaldo, no, they have totally different styles of play ronaldo likes to dribble and beat the most amount of players he can with no direction, ronaldo would dribble all the way back to his goal just to beat 10 players while this kid is dribbling with intention to score and make a beautiful play while ronaldo just wants to do a fancy nonsense trick.
arsenal need a lad like this; hes got the speed of walcott however he knows how to use it! we need a player not affraid to take defenders on and whip a ball into the danger area. with a bit more professional training we could make this kid a star!
He will be better then that diving fag. And La Liga a boring league because its already decided who's gonna be champion and who's gonna be second the opposition for real and barca is just straight up garbage if you see how big the difference in points is.
the premier leaguie is not dominated by the big four. They were supposed to be: Liverpool, Arsenal,Manu and Chelsea. Tottenham made it last year and man city made it this year so it's not dominated by the big four. Also anyone saying he will be better than Ronaldo needs to think again. Maybe if he performs on a big stage like i dunno.. scoring 40 goals in one la liga season? just wait and see, i dont think bigger than ronaldo but he is a hot prospdect that's for sure.
ronaldo was absolutely shit when he started at united... he spent most of his time on the floor after failing at a fancy dribble!... but look at him now haha
he is only 18 yrs old and has only played at school boy level, imagine what he can achive with a few seasons in premier lg expirience, he is a qualty player, imagine playing at school boys then going to play against the likes of ajax ,psv and being one of the best players, the kid is gonna be big.
@morriseo17 Actually Ronaldo was pretty ineffective when he first started at united, couldn't cross or shoot either.. If you remember. They are both very similiar at the age.
Arsenal have some good young players. Wellington Silva, Miyaichi..

damn it pisses me off when people compare young players to superstars and say dude this guy ios the next ronaldo the next kaka etc. i mean PLEASE concertrate on them and don't call them other footbaler's names. because when these young stars retire people ain't gona remember : this guy was back then the next ronaldo, the will remember this was miyaichi.what if his style is like ronaldo's ? im a fuckin dribbler myself and i take pride in it.so what ? do i have to be called the next ronaldo? cheers

Top 6, mid table and relegation struggle.
fluffymole0913 7 months ago
Nobody is comparing Ryo to what Ronaldo is like now. People are saying the way he dribbles is just how Ronaldo used to at Sporting CP when he was the same age.
fluffymole0913 7 months ago
there is no way this boy is gonna b on the bench, when his work permit goes through hes gonna show walcott how its done!!!
rustoff85 7 months ago
Maybe he won't even make it to the bench

arsenal fans still deluded. laughing at the idiot who compared him too kaka!
yujabes 7 months ago
Can you imagine ... Van Persie up front, Ryo on the left wing, Walcott on the right, Nasri and Ramsey in the middle ! Jack Wilshere just in behind ... With plenty of training and more experience could be one of the best attacking formations in the world !!!
Im looking forward to the year !! GUNNERS4LIFE

This guy is more clever than ronaldo was at this age. He is a very clever player, and although he may not have the skills ronaldo did, his head will get him to big places.
dicko2704 8 months ago
Alright guys. Popular vote is he shouldn't be compared to ronaldo. But, no one can disagree he's The Next Big Thing. ;-) Cheers

Kid reminds me more of Kaka than Ronaldo.
kalbe 8 months ago 2
This guy played for a crappy Japanese league and u think he will be close to ronaldos standard. call me when this guy scores 54 goals in one season.
SuperLFC7 8 months ago
@SuperLFC7 you cant compare ryo to someone in the peak of their career playing in spain, he is equally as effective as CR was at his age, goals aren't the only thing that you judge an attacking player on. he as just as much flair, and uses skill in a more effective way, hes a team player not am individual who dives and cries on pitch!
Hinesolly 8 months ago
3:17 ! :o foook me he just owned like 4 players and then went on to score.
Wenger's academy has made another great here :P

reminds me more of Henrys style of play than Ronaldo's. hes very direct with a lot of pace.
kuzmanovic 8 months ago 2
Looks to be a promising young player in the future but the next ronaldo, no, they have totally different styles of play ronaldo likes to dribble and beat the most amount of players he can with no direction, ronaldo would dribble all the way back to his goal just to beat 10 players while this kid is dribbling with intention to score and make a beautiful play while ronaldo just wants to do a fancy nonsense trick.
awesomness1000 8 months ago
this kid has a really long way to go...with a lot of growing to do mentally and physically..but he looks very promising for the Gunnerssss

when he was 17 years old, he ran the 100m in 10 sec 79 with soccer spike.

arsenal need a lad like this; hes got the speed of walcott however he knows how to use it! we need a player not affraid to take defenders on and whip a ball into the danger area. with a bit more professional training we could make this kid a star!

He will be better then that diving fag. And La Liga a boring league because its already decided who's gonna be champion and who's gonna be second the opposition for real and barca is just straight up garbage if you see how big the difference in points is.
oesman 8 months ago 2
Ronaldo at his age had better football sense and technic...
I don't get a point comparing Ryo to Ronaldo
susumuize 9 months ago
the premier leaguie is not dominated by the big four. They were supposed to be: Liverpool, Arsenal,Manu and Chelsea. Tottenham made it last year and man city made it this year so it's not dominated by the big four. Also anyone saying he will be better than Ronaldo needs to think again. Maybe if he performs on a big stage like i dunno.. scoring 40 goals in one la liga season? just wait and see, i dont think bigger than ronaldo but he is a hot prospdect that's for sure.
ahhhhh

ronaldo was absolutely shit when he started at united... he spent most of his time on the floor after failing at a fancy dribble!... but look at him now haha
alphafour 9 months ago 2
he is only 18 yrs old and has only played at school boy level, imagine what he can achive with a few seasons in premier lg expirience, he is a qualty player, imagine playing at school boys then going to play against the likes of ajax ,psv and being one of the best players, the kid is gonna be big.

hahahhahah wtf nobody can be like cr cristiano goes for 17 million euro to manu and was a monster talent
Nazar34 9 months ago 3
Yeah the kids decent, but he doesnt have the skill levels Ronaldo had then and has now, and im not being biased, i personally dont like Ronaldo..
morriseo17 9 months ago 4
@morriseo17 Actually Ronaldo was pretty ineffective when he first started at united, couldn't cross or shoot either.. If you remember. They are both very similiar at the age.
NeiLoMei 9 months ago
@morriseo17 when ronaldo had 17 years he was worse than Ryo , so Ryo can be way better than him if he continoues his progres :D
