  • who is annie get one's gang??where does she live, what is her job,how did she learn about Rwanda!!!

why posting only videos on ingabire, are you sharing same ideas with her?are you happy with grenades attacks?is she your boss?how did you get videos of manifestations of victoire supporters but failed to get one of the president Kagame(you have only pictures of 1998!!).I DON'T HOPE TO SEE MY COMMENT POSTED.

  • The future of Rwanda belong to hutus with %80 of population, MAKE NO MISTAKE! Let these stupid ingotanyi (tutis) build this country that will be inheritance to hutu children. I HOPE EVERY BODY UNDERSTAND THAT, IT IS VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND, SIMPLE MATH. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME.

  • @TheAsira: I like hearing from Rwandans who want this distinction between Hutu and Tutsi to fade into the past.

  • @TheAsira keep on dreaming asshole, u really wish that what happed in 1994 happens again huh? but let me tell you one thing NEVER is the word, put that in your dick head ..........fool.

  • @TheAsira u wish.

  • Just FeveryonesI, Kagame has a dark history, no doubt about it, and he should be held responsible at some point. No accusations of my comments being RPF propaganda please, just trying to provide some comments for the discussion.

  • Plus, there had been several genocides before that during the 1900s. You seem to have to read in a bit more on this before you claim things..

  • no matter if you like it or not, no matter if he is democratically elected or not. And as far as him being involved in the genocide and all of that - even if - IF, because excuse me for doubting your sources Anniewhatever - he caused the spark of the genocide, it was the SPARK, not the genocide. The genocide had been planned for years and years and years, so spark or not, it would have happened sooner or later.

  • Rwanda has a strong history of centralized leadership for one thing; also, the Rwanda of today is NOT the Rwanda of 1994 from a developmental perspective (which I wont discuss further right now), and Kagame has been part of also pushing development forward,

  • Secondly, I wouldnt be so certain that Kagame wouldnt be elected again, by real democratic measures that is.

  • Im not quite sure about whats being said here. First of all, Rwandan diaspora is the diaspora for several reasons - one of them being that some of them were quite involved in the genocide. Of course they will lobby to get rid of Kagame, and of course they will provide you with one-sided facts - just like the RPF provides one-sided facts.

  • ingabire u shouldnt talk about transparency when u still have the idea of blood sheding in your head all we want in rwanda is a president for all not for one tribe understood

  • I think what some people fail to recognise here is, that sometimes democracy is not the answer to everything. Kagame is a strong and fail leader who has made Rwanda into something and of course there was some dictatorship involved but nevertheless that may be good for the development, you only have to look at Cuba, the highest level of education and health yet most people few it a dictated state.

  • @scobbey yes sir,well said

  • @ shinani1: Iam not one of you and never will be so i think the democracy you're asking for should not come through breaking rules, play by the rules/laws. President Kagame is gonna lead that country(Rwanda) for the next seven years and iam pretty sure he will leave that seat for some other intellectuals like him. Kagame and Mandela are the African leaders i can give credit.

  • @tkovegas61 You mean the autocratic dictatorial Rwandan laws that are applied selectively? You mean the laws that were created to stop freedom of speech and freedom of the press? Please answer my question: WHAT IS WRONG WITH ASKING FOR DEMOCRACY? And when you say you are not one of me, what does that mean? Please tell me WHY IS KAGAME & HIS RPF PARTY AFFRAID OF DEMOCRACY? I know he has a lot of people fooled. Fortunately people like Annie are learning the truth.

EXCELLENT JOB ANNIE keep it up.

  • Kagame can not allow democraty in Rwanda.

He knows that he will be judjed for what he did in Dr Congo and

    also he killed Habyarimana.

But he has to know this is his time.

  • @shinani1 What I learned from Rwanda just like Kagame did, is that European or Western democracy is misunderstood and people around the world want to jump to the word not knowing the full meaning of it. You have more than 80 percent of population in Rwanda who don’t even brush their teeth on daily basis, don’t have clean running water, no personal hygiene, and then you want to promote democracy?? What type of democracy ?? it should be a different one from that of the West, indeed.

  • @shinani1 Rwandan people need education first, they need to learn to not blame others, don’t blame God, then Whites, then Tutsi or this and that. Kagame is the unique on African continent: No corruption, no crimes, no rape, no begging. We’ve been electing new leaders but no changes at all in Africa for the past 50 years. Kagame will be missed long after He’s died. When and where have you seen an African president who does not bankrupt his country? Only now, in Rwanda.

  • Like i said KAGAME "might" or "has" some shortcomings and mistakes and as you may know the saying "MISTAKES ARE TO HUMAN." This woman(Victoire Umuhoza) is abusing a government law which clearly states that it's punishable fodged or nor fodged and iam pretty sure she has some skeletons in the closet as well. As i read here her mother is one of those extremists that commited gross murder by cutting pregnant women wombs to remove foetus. "HOW GROSS and EVIL!" so please save me the drama and BS!

  • Hey tambane1, let me hope you are not trying to educate me here because from my point of view, a LAW is a LAW and it's punishable unless it ceases to exit. Imagine MCCAIN using the "N" to refer to BLACK people, would we say that since there is a law against that it's also fodged? In my understanding and my literacy i see Rwanda as an influential country in the great lakes region because of Kagame's outstanding leadership. Like i said he might have some mistakes as "

  • aimable59.Which HUMAN RIGHTS are we addressing here? Don't tell me freedom of speech in Rwanda by using the "T" and "H" words. I understand AGATHE the wife of the former President HABYARIMANA who was assasinated was arrested in France and released on bail. Let the world hope that France is not a safe haven for such extremists. These peeps are violent and evil & they absolutely need to be dealt with an iron hand."AFRICA SHOULD STOP BLAMING WESTERNERS AND SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS." Kagame & Sarkozy.

  • I understand the killing of Tutsi started in 1959 not in 1994 right? HOW EVIL? Hey killing someone for being BLACK or WHITE or CHRISTIAN or MOSLEM or GAY or STRAIGHT or HUTU or TUTSI is way beyond human understanding or in YUGOSLAVIA where a group of BOSNIAN MOSLEMS was to be eliminated. How can one plan this in their innermost mind and heart to do such a thing? Guys get real & DON'T HATE PARTICIPATE!

  • Tutsis have killed Hutus for 400 years. Hutus have killed Tutsis for 50 years. Now, we Rwandans need to move forward in peace. To achieve that peace, we need a free and fair democratic election. August 2010 is coming. We need this election to be fully democratic. We have had enough of killing each other.

  • Annie, thanks for exposing the truth of what is taking place in Rwanda. Don't be bothered by the hateful messages that some people are writing. These are the last kicks of a dying horse. They know that they are losing and on the wrong side of history. The truth will prevail. In the meantime, we must struggle through a cloud of lies. Down with imperialism!

  • Hey you Brecyo8, i have read the HRW report, we all know it's the job of the HRW to report the negative and not the positive. KAGAME as president of RWANDA has shortcomings probably in some aspects but you should know that "NO MAN IS COMPLETELY AN ISLAND." These peeps who are attacked by gov't are going against a gov't law which is dealing with racism, how about they use other compaign moves! We can't wait to see KAGAME come to RUSSIA and meet our PRESIDENT DMITRIY MEDVEDEV!

  • I would have nothing against Kagame except there would never have been any genocide in Rwanda if Kagame had not:

    1. Started a war in 1990, a war that caused so much ethnic hatred during the 4 years of innocent civilians dying from the war.

    2. Killed President Habyarimana in 1994, the Chief of Army, many Rwandan ministers, and President of Burundi, all on the same plane. This is the event that sparked the genocide. As a result, I cannot support Kagame knowing that he ordered the plane shoot down.

  • tkovegas61, you need to understand that this so called law you are referring to, is simply a tool forged by RPF&Kagame to silence and/or kill anybody who dares denounce their oppression, injustice and terror.

  • And how is a grenade going off on market or Mission street in SF got to do with Obama and Mccain running for Presidency anyway. Every country has violent peeps and it's them you are supporting? I have been reading about PAUL RUSESABAGINA featured in HOTEL RWANDA and you are in no way different from the Belgian reporter GEORGES RUGGIU who was working for RTLM radio promoting such violent people during the 1994 genocide. Guys we all know what happened in that small country and it needs KAGAME!

  • Annie or whatever you call yourself, i was just addressing the issue not talking to you lady! Why waste my time talking to you as you put it, and by the way she is not an INTERNATIONAL REPORTER guys, she is a reporter of some naive radio station. I would rather waste my time listening to international reporters ANDERSON COOPER or CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR. You should be sensitising peeps in the Bay to help HAITI or CHILE not supporting a bunch of once again pure RACISTS. How about that job miss?

  • Aimable59, you should be the last person to refer on Universal Declaration of Human Rights, after having committed genocide. Not to long when l mentioned his to you, but the long arm of the law will get hold of you soon or later, that is a fact.

  • @Cyanga, how do you know whether Mr. Aimablle committed the genocide or not. Accusing all people opposed to Kagame of collective genocide won't work. Neither will it attract any attention. We are tired of cheap politics. Simply, allow for FREE AND FAIR elections and let Rwandans decide what is BEST for them.

  • Ha ha ha! Cyanga, you do not know me. You do not know where I was in 1994. For all you know I was one year old in 1994, or may be not even born yet. So, please spare me the senseless accusations. It only shows that you have nothing of substance to add to the discussion except personal attacks.

  • Annie or whatever your name is, you should find something better to do with your life other than supporting a bunch of racists, can't you guys see that the world has moved from such politics. Iam not from Rwanda by the way..iam RUSSIAN and i know Rwanda has emerged from nothing to something. You would think San francisco being a busy city you would find something better to do. Girl..GET A LIFE PLEASE, Rwanda has international reporters to take care of all this. okay? Thank you.

  • Barack Obama is in the U.S., Reverend Rick Warren is in California, though he flies in to Rwanda, and sends his missionaries, to talk about Proposition 8, our gay marriage ban. A corporation across the Bay here, Global Eco Fuels, plants jatropha to make biofuels there. This story is not in one place; it's international; it includes consciousness, policymakers, and Rwandans on several continents and in many countries. And, if you think I need a life, why waste yours talking to me?

  • @AnnieGetYourGang

Well said, Annie. I think Rick Warren may be involved in coltan/Gold Business. I need to investigate what this guy is doing in Rwanda these days.

  • @edrubangura

yeah i really think you need to investigate deep, cause you seem to be really offtrack, might help you.

  • @TheJordanji

    Off track? You stupid asshole.

  • I fail to see how Annie is "supporting a bunch of racists" By reporting facts. How about you Get a life! and while u're at it educate urself. The main International Human Rights bodies recently published a report condemning Rwandas government's attacks on Opposition; Since u seem to know alot about Rwanda i canly only assume u read this report. Do you think These NGOs "support a bunch of racists" too?

  • people like you full of hatred now you have finished all people in Rwanda you have started attacking innocent interntational journalist who are doing their work?you so called nonsense tkovegas61 you will die in anguish of hatred. Peter erlinder has revealed allyour evil plans and lies so you are not going anywhere the best advice i can give to people like you is to accept the truth that your lies are expiring then you see turth and reconcilairion ainstead of continuing criying mushonza ibimyira

  • tkovegas61 is a clear example of the mentality of some people who are so self-righteous, they cannot stand the idea of someone else speaking out. The kind of mentality that suffocates democracy and human rights. But this is 2010, Rwanda has suffered enough. It is time for Rwanda to become a democracy that follows the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. No amount of insults from the likes of tkovegas61 will stop this positive change.

  • @tkovegas61...What is wrong with asking for democracy? Is that a bad thing? Why are Kagame and his supporters AFFRAID of democracy? Time has come to allow Rwandas to CHOSE FREELY. That is a concept Kagame and his cronies are fighting against. Sorry, the wave will not be stopped. You can't beat it, you might as well join it.

Annie, once again a great report.

  • @tkovegas61

Soo funny how non-Rwandans are always the first to talk against someone who thinks is contributing to the bettering of their countries while when we were in need most of them were probably enjoying a pretty beautiful life. By the way for the record am not racist against russians, since racism seemed to be a big issue with you, no offense but you are the first ignorant, pointless, non-profitable, useless, russian i met so far, . Spasiva белый на хуй, pisdiets.

  • Democracy for Rwanda now is the way to go. There is no other way around. The struggle has just begun and the ongoing democratic process has reached a point of non-return. What is crucially lacking is the willingness of some western powers to support the Rwandan people in their struggle.

  • Comment removed

  • Many thanks to you Annie.

Please keep up the good work. The Rwandan people crucially need objective journalists like you in these difficult moments.

  • I have never said a word about, much less in favor of, Hutu power. I have spoken out for democracy, a free and fair presidential election in Rwanda, in 2010.

  • cyanga, rwanda has no other option but to become a democracy. this is 2010. please read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

  • rwanda politic for rwadans only. No obama, no H.Cliton.

  • No Pentagon. No U.S. weaponry.

  • muvunyi, human rights in any country need to follow at least the universal declaration of human rights. rwandans are humans. therefore, all rwandans deserve their basic rights guaranteed by the universal declaration of human rights. rwanda has signed this declaration. it is time for it to act like it.

  • @AnnieGetYourGang No weapons no Pentagon. US is in Rwanda for American quest to quash Islamists every where. Don’t think Rwanda needs America as savior. You wrong. We needed a savior in 1994, not now. We Rwandans are capable of give a respectful farewell to every thing American in Rwanda and then welcome Iranian and Saudi investments along with other Arab groups included Laden groups in Saudi Arabia. Don’t think that US is more than typical partner to us. You’re wrong

  • muvunyi, rwanda cannot stay as non-democratic while other countries in the world move towards democracy. please read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
