@xxxtimhaglerxxx: atreyu is one of my favorite fucking bands! i don't know what albums you been listening to, but if you look up the lyrics in suicide notes and butterfly kisses they talk about love and betrayal. the same goes for the curse. atreyu is one of the bands that have meaningful lyrics that either i, or most people i know can relate to.

i don't hear it. i like them both very, very much, but i don't hear any similarities. the screaming is deeper in atreyu, for one. and the talent is greater in norma jean. i just don't see a similarity.

Yeah. I guess you're right. At first, I thought that Atreyu and Norma Jean were kinda same because they are both metalcore bands. But now I seem to see the difference between them too. Like you said, Atreyu's screaming is deeper. Another similarity between Norma Jean and Atreyu is that Norma Jean has only one vocalist while Atreyu has two vocalists.
