The more TedTalks (TedX, TedWomen, TedMed, etc.) that I watch, the more disappointed I become with the so-called leaders of industry. They seem to constantly rehash each others' ideas with slightly different spins or apparently conflicting opinions, despite the fact that in order to achieve what they have achieved, they stand on the shoulders of giants. Without trust funds, none of these people would have done anything with their lives.
@MoJoSB Kurzweil seperates the evolution of a technology in tree stages: It is really expensive and doesn't work really well. It is affordable and works properly. It is cheap and works perfectly. So the rich invest at first, then the product is improved and the middle class can afford it, then its perfected and anyone can buy it.
@twistedskew There was a news piece recently, on a fully functioning retina having been created in some US university from embryonic stem cells. It's not yet in clinical stages, though.

Some people want young white females to mix with non-white males.
I made a one-minute video highlighting a very small sample of race-mixing advertisements.
I love white people, and I am opposed to race-mixing. But I do not hate non-whites.
If you click on my name “awhitesoul2012” highlighted in blue below this comment, you can watch my video.
Thanks.

Sad that only a very small % will be able to afford this.
Honestly, who would really be able to afford this level of Bio-engineering?

I have a question: Will a tiny defect in the scaffold result in a defected organ or will the cells be smart enough to fix them?
