@FrenchEssieNails yes. i went to school for nails but they did not teach me this in school. i am self-taught. i have a background in art, i am artistic, but i realized when painting nails, you have to readjust the way you think things through because if it gets too thick, you have a problem, so i practiced every night by myself until i came up with all of this.

@xxbieberbarbiexx yes! just make sure you use polish first...then paint, then top coat. you can do it on anything....natural nails, candles, windows (with window paint) clothes (with clothing paint) anything.....im just teaching art :).............all but 2 of my clients have acrylic over their natural nails....acrylic nails allow my art to last longger on my clients and they want my nail art to last as long as it can :)

Ahh. Cool! I'm trippin out in my mind and seeing this in so many different colours right now.

And omg, FolkArt "enamel" is thick and awesomely painty? I so totally learnt something. I have about a million acrylic paints and half of them are sooo thin it does my nut in. Especially the silver and gold ones. Your paints are always so thick and smooth and lovely.

@professionalDQ heheheehe yeah..thin one suck...i always open the paint and look at it and put some on my hand to see how matte and full coverage it is before i buy it.....now i know what works for me so i just replace what runs out...but if its a new color, its swatched on my hand immediately :D haha! giggidy :D

how do you keep your top coat brush so flat? wouldnt it go back to its original shape after you put it back in the bottle?

@tammi530 its 15 years old.....LOLOLOLOL...im not kidding. its just an old worn out brush....when it was a baby, i laid it on my desk...cleaned off and pounded it flat with a hammer. the neck of the brush is round..mine is oval, which allows my brush to 'fan' but, i liked it and kept it and kept refilling the bottle and its never left my side. i have LOTS of things that i have used since nail school.... haha! crazy right?
