I had a pot belly big (not mini) at my home growing up. She had the whole basement to herself and boy did she stink. She was so cute though, until she became huge.

Mini pot belly pigs get to be about 30-40 pounds usually.

When I move out, I'm going to get a little girl piggie. :3 I met a little pig at pet smart named Pork Chop who was so sweet! She gave me kisses and was just a total doll! And they seem to get along great with other pets. I cannot wait!

@Jaahaah no correction needed. A wild pig lives around 25 years. Domestic pigs range from 10-15 years. They used to think it was longer but studies have shown over the years that they are very much like dogs.

@mercytatum The oldest pot bellied pig at the moment is already 21, he is called oscar, google it, there have been older, an many reliable sites, including potbellypigs lists their lifespan at over 20 years, its not average, but not that uncommen

@mercytatum pot belly pigs can't be compared to ordinary domestic pigs, just like dogs, the smaller you are the longer you live, and ordinary domestic pigs get much, much larger

@KurtsKougar They can get up to 200 lbs, the micro thing is just what breeders say to get you to buy them. The ones that do stay small usually don't live very long because of all their health problems. I wanted to get one, but did a bunch of research and the whole industry is pretty sad

watching this makes me think of my friends black and white striped mini pot bellied pig. He was such a baby and loved sleeping on my lap. Miss him. My tears are flowing because brings back memories. He was unhappy with the environment in an urban setting and had to return to the farm.
