  • how long would the yogurt last in the fridge before it goes bad?

  • @jaxsmomma13 having 5 children, I HAVE NO IDEA, lol. they eat it to dang fast, lol! But I would say at least a week.

  • rofl wtf why did you randomly show people dirt for 3 minutes during a yogurt making session

  • can you show us how to make cream cheese?

  • Epsom Salts are a great fertilizer for your tomato plants. You can look it up online : )

  • fish heads are good too.

  • can you make videos on how to make Bread, Cheese and Pasta noodles.

  • @2ChillPillz I made a bread video... will do cheese and pasta :)

  • best wishes for your new garden:) never even thought to make sour cream!! that is something i will try... thanks

i want to learn how to make cheese.... have you ever done that?

  • CP hold on.. I'm in year 3 on the tomato questions.... I still can't answer them... remember we live in a cool climate.... with more than usual rain.... feed them... probably in your situation you should get comfortable with compost tea... not so hard but can be messy! LOL.. so glad you are doing this series... you shamed me into cleaning my kitchen and baking hot dog buns today!

  • Interesting on the yogurt. Don't worry too much on the yellow leaves on the tomatoes.

You will need to nip the tips at the top as they string out. We coached out cucumber runs upward with supports, works great.

  • yogurt made in a crockpot with store bought milk..the no geliton, active yogurt , i must research..i will give this a yanky effort.. thanks my friend, cp..........peace mik

  • Thanks for the crock pot yogurt recipe... I hate those teensy weensy little yougrt cup makers... the big old crock pot is a great idea... If you figure out how to make the creamy GREEK yogurt please also give us a video! Thanks...

  • @clayvessel hiya - for greek yogurt just strain the whey with a clean t-shirt or other cloth, just not cheese cloth. You set up a heavy bowl so it won't tip, then set your colander inside, then the cloth, and pour the yogurt in. I cover it with some saran wrap and let it drain overnight in the fridge.

  • I miss crockpots and wish they'd sell 'em here in France. I think I'm buying myself a French yogurt maker and an extra set of glass jars for my birthday soon -- that's the kind of nerd I am. I want something useful, you know? Hee hee! It's really good to see how a large batch can be made. Your tomatoes need plant food I think. Yellow leaves tend to mean "feed me." Keep "em dry on the leaves. See ya!

  • @CanadianPatriot1973 Praxxus55712‬‏ has great tomato videos too

  • I didn't say that cp...lol. I said remove the dead or dying leaving because it takes energy away from the plant. The leaves to indicate what the plants needs..try some fertilizer. Have you been feeding the plants? I want to learn how to make gold...lol can you teach me how?

  • @MrsNewAmericaNow I should say who said something, i get to confused, lol! I haven't fed them anything, I better figure out what to feed em!

  • That IS simple! My daughter loves yogurt. How much sugar and vanilla would you put in it to flavor it for a child to eat?

  • @anastasia81472 Put a vanilla bean in a big glass jar and add granulated sugar to it. Let it sit for at least a week and keep adding sugar when it runs out. The vanilla bean will last potentially for years. The French do this to make their own vanilla sugar, which is way cheaper than buying it in little packets (although those do taste really good). Vanilla beans have long lives so it's worth looking up -- never throw them out! Vanilla sugar is served on the side for kids here in France.

  • The yellowing may be from over watering. I would cut off those bottom tomato branches and add soil up to the rim of your pot. Tomatoes create roots as far up as there is soil, which let's them absorb more nutrients. I bury mine really deep in the pot. LOVE the yogurt method. I have never tried that and I MUST do so. Great vids!

  • @tburke64 OK, I will be doing that today, im nervous about them, tomato plants intimidate me, lol! So I will follow your directions and I am sure it will be awesome!

  • @CanadianPatriot1973 Keep the leaves dry.

  • cool... i learned 2 things... you can freeze yogurt starter... and make it in a crock pot... very cool!
