Public vs. Private

Public is better, it makes you appreciate life and not take things fro granted, fair enough in private schools you may get a better education, but you don't find out how the world works because your put into a bubble. I go to a public school, I have met people who have had parenting issues, and alcohol problems, they have all been very nice people, they just weren't given much of a chance. Every private school kid I have met has been arrogant purely because they think there better.

@05hipkinja thats wrong i go to a private school and im not arrogant!! i dont think im better than anyone and friends think the same thing!!! we are just blessed to be able to go to a private school and that does not make any different !!! private schools arnt just goodie goodie schools!! and alot of the kids move to a public school because people talk about us like you did!! like how would you feel if i was like ohh them kids that go to public schools are horrible!! but i DONT feel that way

I've been to both and I enjoyed both but I've noticed in my private school was all my teachers actually care and the school is more academically strict... I'm in public school and I do have a some teachers that care, but some just really do not care and that's probably why some students don't care either...in my opinion if you're a hard working student, it doesn't matter what type of school you go to.

my kids have gone to both public and private,mostly public,chances are by the end of the school year ill probably put them back in public,,,their are SO MANY VARIABLES TO CONSIDER when choosing a school for your children,but just because its free doesn't mean its equipped to train your child,and just because u pay LOTS OF MONEY doesn't mean your child will excel or that you will be stress free,take it from me and consider all options.it was my lack of interest in my kids that was at fault.

ive been to both private and public and im not saying public is better, but i personally enjoyed public better cos it was more relaxed

@ReklawRemix i did also everyone in my private school were scrawny snobby asses and if i threatened those who think they were better then me to a fight they'd go tell the principal and id get a suspension and my mom would be charged money for it and after i got expelled so i went to a public school people there are what you say more relaxed and not very snobby....

Weather the school is private or public; students, teachers, & parents together make the difference. Students need a stable home environment, teachers need support from parents, parents need to be informed & active in their child's school. Co-op schools are best because there are no special interests involved. Home schooling is also a good option. Private school profiteers & public state schools are both in the education "business" to serve their own purposes. We end up with greed, poverty&war!

I went to a private school for 12 years and i hated it so much i had no social life and their was 1 girl in my grade. Now i'm at public school and have a lot of friends.

privet schools think that there better just because they wear uniforms and have to pay but its not better trust me i been to a privet school before and i hated it there and i didn't learn anything there and people thought that they where better than everybody else i go to public schools now and i love it there Ive made tons of friends and learned alot and my grade have dramatically improved and it seems like people there actually care for u and plus there much more people and thats what i like

@pattycake101ful people in private school arent all rich snobs, im sure your just assuming that since you have never actually been to one, there are a few rich snobs, who yes think they are better than others and are very ignorant but some people there actually arent like that at all and can barely afford to go to one but are going because there parents think they will get a better education.

however in private schools they take the time after school to go over your questions. If private school teachers suck they get fired, if public school teachers suck, nothing happens. Fuck government schools they suck, and if you havent been to a private school, you have no idea.

I went to both, I started out in Private, hated 2 out 3 of those schools, but then went to public school and learned what a bunch of racist pricks black kids can be and dropped out. I enrolled myself in Military school and graduated earlier.

Private schools are hard and they are structurally disciplined. They teach morality and have more teachers per student than the public schools. At public school I couldnt get my bitch of a pre-algebra teacher to help me with things I didnt understand.

It isn't that all public schools are bad, remember people buy houses based on the school district. It's that private schools inspire choice. Imagine if you had to shop at one particular grociery store based on where you lived and weren't able to shop anywhere else. It probably wouldnt be a store that lives up to all of your expectations. But with choice comes competition, with competition, expectaions that must be listened to for a buisiness to survive.
