I started watching Madtv around 2004 when I was 12. I forget exactly what cast I became accustomed to, but I enjoy various different seasons. I started watching Madtv because at the time SNL was having a hard time and wasn't doing so well. Nicole Sullivan, Will Sasso, Michael McDonald, Alex Borstein...those people are great. I enjoyed the new cast too, shame it had to end when it did.

I grew up with this season so this is the best season to me. IMO anyone who grew up while watching MadTV will like the season that they grew up with, so don't say the old or new casts suck. I like the new cast since I'm new to MadTV. The old cast was okay but compared to the new cast IMO it's not as good

This was one of the crappier opening fro all the seasons. They seemed to juggle around with the announcing and audience inputs throughout the series' openings. I didn't particularly like this one. In season 13, the one after this one, they totally re-did the opening and I think its not too bad. I still like the older openings better. (Season 10 was on of their better ones.)

7 was a weird year because that was the 3rdd year that castmembers we all grew to love for years started leaving and become a recurring event each year after. Phil and Pat left at the end of 5, Nicole Sullivan in 6, Alex and Will in 7, Debra in 8, Mo in 9, Aries in 10, and Stephnie in 11. You have to give the S12 cast some credit though because they pulled off a lot of material that had that good humorous quality of the older days from season 1-4.
