I imagine that even EI's don't work for some people! Also, I don't really get the distinction between the people who "knew who they were" and those who were living from their personality. To "know who you are" ultimately is Self-realization, so these people would not *need* a retreat to awaken... what this dude is saying doesn't make sense to me..

@12233445566abc yes, knowing who you are is self-realization. those are not the people he designed the ei for. it's for the rest of us, so we could get to that place of knowing. the real question is, where did he meet these self-realized people? my friend, who became deeply enlightened at an ei given by charles, thinks they may have been people high-up in scientology, who have done a lot of "clearing," as that's where charles' background was & where he took a lot of his ideas.

@12233445566abc and yeah, only 10-30% of the people have a "direct experience" at any one intensive, though i heard about a woman who kept going to ei's for 10 years till she finally got it.
