  • I can't get enough of Leo Sayer, or this song, lately.

I feel bad, so bad, that I had never explored this man's music, I mean beyond his most popular hits that I grew up listening to, prior to this.

This performance is sheer brilliance! And he does sound better Live than on the album. That's a rare thing.

  • fucking genius!

  • I just cant find this Album anywhere! I love this album!!!!!

  • Genius

  • from the good old times, amazing

  • A friend dying.... how hard to say goodbye.

  • the music on this video is BETTER than the cd

    the performances here are OUTSTANDING

    Thank you RawkHead1..........

  • listened to the man since the early 70's and that was his best time, but some of his later stuff is good xxcc

  • friend of mine's mom is maried to him.

he rocked in phantom of the paridice

  • A magic voice by an true artist!

  • I surprised that I like these performances better than the album versions. Normally that sentiment is reversed when it comes to music.

  • I gree with you! :)

  • As beautiful as it was years ago

  • I wish I knew about him before.I AM HOOKED NOW!:)

  • fantastic! a true artist, in the same vein of ray davies, steve harley, alex harvey, kevin coyne...thanxs for this magics moments on "youtube"..

  • The songs from this performance are incredible, unfortunately I can't say the same about his work after he realized that talent didn't sell records.

Its too bad that someone like this has to resort to "writing hits" because the general population can't appreciate music like this......they need cookie cutter stamped songs that are just so blah...

  • Agree completely - it all went horribly wrong after the hideous "You make me feel like......." I hated that song so much can't even type it.

If he'd stayed true to his talent we'd have had some great songs and the general public would have probably come to love it. Have spent years telling people they should listen to early Leo Sayer, and I nearly always get an odd look. But if they do bother to.... I've known a few see him in a different light

  • I fall into that catagory, as my Dad told me to listen to his first song The Show Must Go On a few hours ago.

I had a completely different image of him before tonight, I compare him to Early Billy Joel before "Uptown Girl"

  • I haven't heard that song in like 30 or so years, his first 3 albums were the best.
