  • 0:53 need for speed tokyo :o!!!

  • are your bike pregnant yet??

  • what the mark of your bike

  • gt zone is a bad bike. it's phat as fuck.

  • is ur favorite word fuck

  • Good vid,but I can't balance, once I pull up I flip the bike or I just go back down what should I do?

  • Right now I have a 05-06 gt performer and I need to get a new one cuz the way that bike is constructed is wak and I was thinking about a gt zone any suggestions on wat I should get

  • @xMclovin2121x im mclovin thats my old account i got the account wrong thought i waws on this one that account has closed so if u wanna reply reply to this account

  • 1:30 Your humping the bike ?

  • @OwnedMuchVideoz its called blancing on your back tire. you bend your legs to keep the front down you extend the legs to keep the front up. when you learn to control a manual " humping your bike" aka pumping, will let you hold the manuel longer or gain speed if you start losing speed.

  • thanks cool video im so good at manuls now

  • A few people think i am hahaha, i'm Chinese/Vietnamese.

  • Oh btw whats the name of your bike im looking to buy a new hardtail?

  • Nice vid

  • can you do one on bmx? or do the same principles apply or sumfing?

  • manuals are almost all bmx

  • haha i wanna c a nose manal

  • uhh, my bike has the back brake on the right. all my bikes, every bike i've ever seen lol

  • in the uk probably, like a dirtbike but the clutch is the rear brake instead

  • ya, same.

  • YOU SAID THE S- WORD

  • OH NO

  • so, when you hump it. when you go closer, does the front wheel go down more or up more?? and the other way around..

  • so is it like popping the back wheel up with your feet only opposite?

  • nice helmet .!

  • hey, nice bike wat is it? i want a Specialized P2 but need the best Street MTB let me no

  • could get a dmr?

  • ok the best bike is a road master

  • No its a hoffman Condor

  • i had a condor now it is in da grage as a dusty ol' frame n fork. that thing is an indestructable beast!! very weird looking though.

  • you should make a video on how to do that trick you did at the end, the ground 360 i think its called.

  • Ohhh yer alright man, i'll look into it :)

  • its called a rock hop i think...

  • huh?

  • @devox34 it's a rockwalk

  • @devox34 flatland

  • weird bike like the bars u should get normal ones

  • Lol? they would be considered normal style bars for a street mtb. It's not a bmx.

  • @09anthony0906 Most norco bikes have those bars. Your probably used to like the straight ones like on shit walmart bikes.

  • i cant do that i can only pedal up on the backwheel what should i do???

  • flip your bike around.

  • i love how you said to wear a helmet unlike those stupid posers with no kongs

  • @Joeymcbobbersen ... but he did not secure his helmet under his chin. :-(

  • nicee the frame is a norco 604 i have one my self great frame and geo especially for street and dj

  • what kinda bike/frame do you use? havin trouble with doin this on my specialized p.2 .. :/ grr

  • Man I wish I had a bike again so I can do this..

  • his deity bar and stem are nice

  • i cant keep the wheel up after popping it!

  • lean back its scary tho the first few times just jump off tho and ul be fine

  • ok ill try it

  • yupp hes right, just jump off if u get too far back and once u do it more u start to get used to it

  • i need help i carn't keep my front wheel up, any tips peeps

  • extend your legs more when falling forward so that your body weight moves backwards and you dont go down. Im still learning, its annoying.

  • thankyou and you were very cool in this vid i rated 5/5 and thanks for the tip X]

  • you should do your helmet strap up if your teaching about safety, thats very dangerous! x]

  • Yeah that's true, incase i get blown over by the wind or something while i talk. Haha nah i made sure i did it up before i rode. It does look like it isn't but that's just the strap you pull to have it tighter.

  • u no any light mtb forks for street riding? i need a lighter front end for my bike.. coz im nt very big

  • hey man make a video or somthing or teach me here with manual with pedaling cause i find that really hard

  • Oh that would be called a wheelie since it involves pedaling, there are quite a few videos on YouTube that teach you how to wheelie, search them up.

  • ayy thanks man nice bike

    YOUR FROM MELB ARENT YA!!!

  • Haha yep, Melbournian.

  • omfg lagggggg =((((

  • Cheers, I'm old school but still learning .

  • is it easier to manual with the seat post down? i can get the whell up but i dont know how to keep it up

  • It wouldn't make a difference because you don't sit down when you manual, unless of course you have the seat so high that you hit it even when you're standing straight up on the pedals.

  • well how do i kepp the wheel from droping back down again

  • Practice, once you have your balance your body will automatically keep it there.

  • k thanks for the tips ill make a video on it sometime if im doing it worng and can u tell me how i can improve my technique thanks again for tips

  • Are you a chinese austrlian? Nice vid.

  • Yeah half Chinese half Viet, born in Australia.

  • what bike are you riding?

  • It's a 2005 Norco 604, but everything except for the seatpost and crankset has been changed on it.

  • its rly not that easy trust me...

  • bmx is wayyy better

  • do you have world record for longest manul?

  • does the lighter front end makes a difference?

    what about shorter stem/higer handlebar?

    nice vid anyway!cheers

  • Yeah a lighter front end does make quite a big difference, however i would reckon a different bar and stem setup makes a bigger difference than just the weight.

  • nice man.

I'v got a 2008 Norco ryde with single speed nd juicy three's. i'm getting a da bomb wheel set and new kranks and all that.

    What country r u in?

  • Why does it seem hard to bring the wheel up front? H have two bikes. One is a U framed and the other is something similar to yours but both are hardtail.

  • errr. do i have to go fast to manual?

  • You don't have to go fast to manual, but it is easier to keep your side to side balance when you go faster.

  • Hey what bike is that?

  • It's a 2005 Norco 604 but all the parts on it have been changed except for the seatpost and crankset.

  • im gunna have the wind and the FUCK

  • you didn't include the fact you can feather the front brake too..

Instead of feathering the the back brake, which usually if you have discs is pretty sharp. Feather the front brake (if you have one) and slow the rotation of the front wheel down, that way the front end drops slowly but predictably..

you almost don't need to pump the bike an more..

Either way ....I found 20" or 24"'s are way more fun.. mtb's are too easy to manual...

    Nice video though..

  • I wouldn't feather the front brake, i did not include that on purpose because i feel that it is bad to do so.

Feathering the front brake would reduce its gyroscopic effect. ie. it would make the bike easier to fall to a side. Many bmx'ers and street/dj mtb'ers don't run a front brake anyway.

If you slow down or stop the front wheel from spinning before it contacts the ground again, it would wear out the tyre and possibly start your handle bars wobbling if you are manualling at high speeds....

  • yawn... its a point of view.. no right or wrong. ..if you going to be doing a "how to.." people should know about all aspects of what you can do..

  • To be honest, i don't see it as a point of view, i see it as facts.

Yes your idea might be a "can do" but whether it's a "should do" is a different story. In my opinion, i don't think it "should" be done.

  • I also do not understand what you're trying to say about pumping the bike anymore when the front is on the way down.

As long as you are holding on to the bars, i reckon that would be predictable enough, because dropping the front back down from a manual is much smoother than landing from a bunnyhop anyway.

The size of the wheels don't play as big of a factor in how a bike rides as the geometry of the frame. I've ridden bmx's that are very easy to manual but also some that are very hard.

  • wheels do play a large part..

there is a bigger sweet spot on a 26" vs 20"

hence why BMx's tend to be far more responsive, compared to a Mtb.. obviously geometry..plays a part too.. ..

  • I didn't say that the wheels don't play a big part, i'm saying that they don't play a big of a part as the geometry of the frame.

In this case we are talking about manualling, obviously for tricks etc a bmx would be day night difference to an mtb. Not only because of the wheel size, but overall frame geometry --> high bars and low stem.

The length of the chainstay would make a much bigger difference than the size of wheels.

  • Shutup your wrong hes right, feathering the front brake isnt really worth doing at all, back brake is easier to control .

  • that stem looks exactly like the eastern choker but im trading mine for the colony official haha its gonna look good

  • holy shit english ninja has skills!!

  • helpful - thanx!

  • Hmm i think my bike frame is to big for me cuz ive been trying to manual and its super hard lol ive got an old bmx so i might try it with that i got a diamondback compression 3

  • a manual can be done in a full suspension bike???

  • Yes it can, except that i find it harder.

  • yeah i can but full suspension weigh alot more its harder to get onto the one wheel

  • nice vid. thats a sweet sounding freewheel, what set up are you using in the rear?

  • Hope Pro2 SS Trials rear hub, on a 32hole Sun MTX rim with DT Champion spokes.

  • great vid m8 no 1 else has takin the time to actually teach the manul properly on u tube great vid i think it will help me :D

  • hey man, how do u get the bike up initially, i work at evans (manchester) so im practicin on lots of different bikes not stock lol but i can never get the front to lift got any tips, im gettin a specialized p1 if that helps

  • If you're only using your arms then it is very hard, you have to use your whole body as in your back, shoulders, legs and ass and arms. If you're already doing that then it's just a matter of more practicing, or maybe your frame is too big for you, i have ridden some large size frames and i can't manual those.

  • i got a specialized rockhopper which is great for manuals but what bike is urs?

  • Norco 604, but every part has been changed except for the crankset and seatpost.

  • why dont people rock big fat stand ups like in my video? check it out. ride safe

  • because thats more of a motorcycle style. and lacks control to ease over bumps, and up and down hills. a manual can be used to make obstacles more mellow.

  • hey im trying to learn the manul but i always just fall down straight away i have my shoes at the start of the pedal my bike is heavy could u help

  • Yeah you'll have to pull up very hard initially, you'll know once you've reached that point where the bike would just sort of sit there and balance. Keep practicing and you'll be able to pull it up to that balance point very quickly :).

  • where is that? i wanna skate there

  • Flemington Bridge, Melbourne.

  • as ive said before, wow i want your bike :O

  • good tutorial, hey i tried it the other day, i lifted it up for about 2 seconds! but i couldn't hold my handle bars straight, they turned 90degrees while it was being lifted and i landed with my front 90degrees from the body. i flew, any tips?

  • dont really pull back with your arms just use your body weight, slowly pull back equally

  • oh, yeah i tried slowly pulling back. kinda help though =) i'm using a haro f2c kinda small and a full chrome body so its heavier than normal bikes XD

  • what if your bike is heavy?!?!?! HELP!!!

  • If the bike is really heavy, it will just be harder to PULL UP. Just keep practicing and it will start to become easier and easier.

  • superb

  • Nice vid man only good how to manual vid on youtube 5 star!

  • Nice video;)

  • Lol what's your problem against asians? did i ever do shit to you?

  • mate, youre a fucking racist,

  • aww yummy listen to that tick =)

  • what cinda bike is that

  • ur tires r hella fat

  • Sounds silly mate but what tyres you running as i plan on getting some dirt/street tyres i was considering maxxis holy rollers

  • Haha all good, i used to run Holy Rollers and they were awesome, but i wanted something skinnier so i am now running DMR Transitions.

  • cheers mate great, vid by the way it helped me learn the manual a lot quicker :)

  • thanks man im learnin to manual now ! im learnin to bunnyhop to manual i saw that vid of urs to ! :-) iv got this box bout 1 foot heigh an 6 foot long i can bunny hop up but not bunnyhoop to manual :-(

  • very nice man.. what kinda bike is that your riding..?

  • Cheers it's a Norco 604.

  • isnt that called a wheelie???

  • No because a wheelie involves pedalling, whereas a manual does not involve pedalling.

  • ohhhh... USA!!! :)

  • how much is that bike i need a new one...

  • lol my bike is fairly old now, i doubt you'd be able to find one in good nick. I bought mine on sale for about $1600AUD, however all the parts on it has been changed except for the crankset and seatpost.

  • fuck me 1600 that more hen what i bought my dirtbike for lol

  • your an epic failure its a bike negro go kill yourself

  • oh, kk. nice place. im singaporean. Singapore =D

  • where are you from? you're good.

  • Melbourne, Australia.

  • 白人看不懂,wahlan来翻译,哈哈!!

  • Why do all asians

    have god bikes??

Also anyone know the shop croydon cycle works

  • hey Alielliot...to stop falling from side to side use ur hips keep ur legs apart the same distance as well. It should help :s ...

cool vid this guy is good

  • What rear hub do you have?

  • man i tried everything i keep falling side to side , any help?

  • your cock is too big and its throwing your balance off

  • 好好笑!

  • its either he is going really fast in da beginning or the camera is just fast fording it

  • wat norco model is it year as well????

also do you any good dirt jump places besides knox like not near the city like cranbourne hallam berwick and endeavour hills also narre warren

  • 2005 Norco 604, and sorry i don't know many dirt jump places near you. The ones i would recommend are Croydon Hills.

  • What brand is your bike???

and how much was it stock not including additional things uve added on

  • It's a Norco, i paid $1600AUD and it was on sale.

  • hey man ur good i got a bike that i got is to big cost me grand but im thinking about getting a bike like ur how much are they and... that was some cool u did at the end i whant to do that kind of stuff msg me back.

  • There are heaps of bikes that are like mine, they are considered to be called "street mtb's". I've spent close to $3000AUD on my bike, but every part has been changed except for the crankset and seatpost.

There are heaps and heaps of great value street mtb's nowadays.

One of the ones i'd definitely consider buying is the SE Dj Flyer, it has to be the BEST value for money street mtb at the moment.

  • what you are using is a MTB right? well i was wondering why is the chain quite tight cause usually MTBs have loose chains because you change gears, what did you do to your bike?

  • Haha yeah it's an mtb, but i have no gears, just single speed. My setup is more like what a bmx has.

  • haha same! i have a my mtb and i changed it to a single gear, added stands and made it look like a bmx XD

  • loool

i can give it only about 3-4 meters:))

    Nice man!

  • hey mate thats the moonee ponds creek i see u got a motie aswell i do too i ride a yz 450f jst wondering on any places u go riding if u recomend any i do have rec reg so i can trail ride with no problems any tracks u may no let us no buddy nice vid me and my mate use to ride their a fair bit to i left the area but i cant find any dirts jumps or any street ridingout wher i am now .
