The Bradley Kimura series are high quality balisongs at good price and made in USA. But they are EXTREMELY sharp and on the heavier side but at around $90 you can't go wrong. The Benchmade 51 is light weight and GREAT flipper IMO. If you look around you can get a 51 for around $165 instead of mrsp of $265.

this might help some of you. when you start out learning this do it very slowly speed does not play that much in it, also this is hard to explain but when you spin it do not push on the handles to spin push where the two handles go together where it makes like a V. another thing that helped me was once you get it spinning try to think and you finger is chasing the dangerous handle and the blade but safe handle is in the way

I watched this vid a long time ago but I still had problems with my chaplins until I watched it again tonight and saw that I had to use my finger more than just my wrist.(Yeah yeah thats what she said :p)

Also, I found it easier to do it on my middle finger for some reason and that kind of helped me learn the motion for my index. I dont know why, but it was easier that way for me.

Now, please teach us to transition out of it to moves because that aint working for me just yet :p Thanks.

Anything under $60 will sadly let you down after repeated use.

I'd recommend a Bradley Kimura, it's under $100, and can be found for around $75-80 if you know where to look on the internet.
