A couple of things that should be noted:

Rick James was the nephew of Melvin Franklin, a founding member of the Temptations. Detroit is not that far from Toronto and Rick James was a native of Buffalo to be in Toronto (albeit on AWOL) - Years later on Rick James & Greg Reeves drove to LA. Greg was the bassist on one of the CSNY albums. Greg was also signed to Motown (at age 16).

Things just seemed to really fall into place during the period with the Minah Birds ...

For me as log time Neil Young fan this series are like the long awaited saturday morning cartoons as a child, you know what I mean?, just great, great inside look into Neil Young personal life, inner circle, familly, well what can I say? great job by the A & E channel.

Well I have to keep on watching, see you.
