What a wonderful age that you can get "bravos" for a double salchow! How wonderfully feminine she is....such great edging and technique. Marvellous spins! I think American Nicole Bobek must be of Austrian descent! Perhaps related to Herbert!

This movie shows a free programme of the 1949 European Champion and the 1948 Olympic runner-up Eva Pawlik (in a blond wig)starring in the Vienna Ice Revue. I was astonished to find it on youtube. The skating pair after Pawlik´s programme is Inge and Willi Schilling from Germany. Afterwards you can see the European Champion and 1956 Olympic bronze medalist Ingrid Wendl.
