  • Where's scarface.? rambo..? rocky? demmit...

  • Yeah, sorry... I didn't get very far into this list... made it about a minute and a half... Walk to remember REALLY made me question this one... A lot of terrible movies... Maybe you were saving GOOD movies until the end of the list or something... But I'll never know...

  • fight club

  • Finaly a list with Leon in it, that must be one of the most underrated movie ever.

  • @madhat1979 that movie is already very popular,i think every movie on that list are the polular ones.

  • stupid youtube. . .

    What was the sound???

  • Can any one explaine to me why is Forest Gump so loved in american cinematography? I mean i have seen it but it bored me please help me understand...

  • when I saw "a walk to remember" in this top I just lose the faith in it.

  • movies from the 1970 loooooool

  • lol wtf.....

  • HARD CANDY IS PROBABLY THE WORST FILM I HAVE EVER SEEN...

  • So you used the Godfather waltz as a song....but you didnt include the movie in a list of 50?

  • godfather's not in there cause its too obvious??

  • the woodsman ? really??

  • Why alphabetical order? too hard to pick favorites? i think Babel should be at the top! i liked Memiors of a Geisha.....that should be there too. but it's your opinion.... :)

  • im more or less agree with your list.. but "I walk to remember"... I just thought it was an easy and silly movie...

  • Nice Choices bro, very much better than from the people's choices who prefer to watch stupid scifi nonsense and horror.

  • To all you people bitching and complaining, it specifically says that it's HIS OPINION

  • wtf man city of god, taxi driver, the godfather???

  • Comment removed

  • Thank Gawd you mentioned Shawshank lol

  • The Panic Room?? seriously? lmao

  • I loved your list ! guess youre a kevin spacey fan :)

  • city of god

  • If SOPA is here to stay i am going to download the shit out the internet

  • The top 50 movies of one generation... but all time, come on...

  • your taste is very close to mine

  • you must watch and Gladiator is Epic Movie

  • very subjectiv

  • i guess you haven't seen

"Perfume, the story of a murderer"

the best movie i have seen

  • Another person who calls himself a 'film fan' & has seen next to no films that pre-date the 70's. Same old, same old.

  • the Godfather? Rocky?

    educate yourself you fool

  • And "2001"??? And Amadeus???

  • as soundtrack u should put "diamonds are forever" cover of the arctic monkys...it's amazing & I think iit would fit perfectly.....just my thought^^

  • payane in donya.ba khodast.khoda.enshala

  • Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

  • Comment removed

  • U create a video with top 50 movies. But u fail to add top 10 of them.

  • thnx for stating it is your opinion, cause i might had mistaken the video for a scientific fact

  • @Albion105 @marimar1493 I'm not trying to act like a smartass. All I'm saying is that if he's passionate enough about films to compile one of these lists, he should at least pursue his interest and see why some of the films are totally inferior (thats a fact im afraid, not just my personal opinion).

  • 'you are severely goddamn undereducated in film.' God, why do you think you are better than anyone else? The title says 'in my opinion' The fact that /your/ favourite movies are not here doesn't make it an unlegitimate list. Respecting others opinions would be a nice thing to start doing

  • You've got a few good films on this list but you are severely goddamn undereducated in film. I get that it's your opinion but before you even think of making a list like this you need to catch up my friend. First off, you deserve a punch in the face for putting films like the King Kong remake and Shrek in the same list as Mulholland Drive and Apocalypse Now. Kubrick? Hitchcock? Bergman? You haven't even got the minimum essentials like Casablanca! Dude, delete this and go update your knowledge ;)

  • @IRobertMarah You know he's allowed to have an opinion right? if he likes those movies what's it to you?, you make movies seem like a narrow path that only the movies you like, everyone must like :ll, go update your knowledge on basically, everything ;)

  • la banda es muy sencible es segun su opinion solo ustedes tiene la mejor. ya no lloren

  • I just love how mature the commenters are. I love how they first of all assume this person has seen every movie ever made, then fail to notice the "opinion" part of the vid's title, then insist that their opinion is so much better than his, then get all worked up about the personal list of someone they've never met in their lives. Yes, very very mature.

  • NO HUMAN CENTIPEDE? THIS LIST SUCKS!!!!!!

  • There are some really bad movies on this list

  • Scarface, The Godfather? ? ? ? / ? ? ?D

  • Way to include films before the 1970's. You're missing out on 70 years of film. I guess films such as Seven Samurai, Metropolis, Psycho, Paths of Glory, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Yojimbo, and any great classic film don't make your cut. Yet Braveheart does? It doesn't matter that you made this before 2008. You have a heck of a lot of movies before 1970 to see before you die.

  • Leon is really the professional FYI

  • Granted it's this person's opinions, but this dude knows fuck all about films

  • Quentin Tarantino?Stanley kubrick?

  • 500 days of summer

  • on gaining of knowledge. It is through knowledge that a person will fully realize the wonders of our Creator in nature and within ourselves. A Muslim is any person anywhere in the world whose obedience, allegiance, and loyalty are to God, the Lord of the Universe. Even if you are a Christian, it doesn't hurt to learn about 1.6 Billion Muslims who love and respect Jesus!

  • No Brazil...No film from Stanley Kubrick...man you don't know anything about cinema....Shrek lol !!! The exorcist !!!! lol Leon !!!! The passion of the christ !!! lol holy shit

  • where the heck is big fish

  • Into the wild <3

  • there is a whole world of amazing movies before the 90s, not just one or two. This list is awful. (in my opinion)

  • Very good list if you ask me, well rounded genres

  • thumbs up if you came here to pirate these movies

  • @bigfatman64 hahahahahahahahaaahahahaaha

  • @bigfatman64

    So true:D

  • @bigfatman64 WHERE WOLUME? İS THERE BULL? YES OR NO TRU OR FALSE ARE YOU OKEY VAN TU TRİ FORO

  • @bigfatman64 LOL

  • very very good selection

  • clockwork orange, one flew over the cuckoos nest, taxi driver, pulp fiction, full metal jacket

  • stopped watching after i read in the description that shrek was on your list... lol

  • There will be blood...???

I regretted watching this, - just once...

    ( & I'm a big Day-Lewis fan...!! )

  • noob list.

  • Very disappointing list. All mainstream American films since 1970? Really? What a joke!

  • @MichaelDominici Braveheart? But no Blue Velvet? No Brazil? Give me a break. Game over.

  • The OMEN..Sophies Choice...One Flew over the Cuckoos nest...REDS...

  • Comment removed

I... wow. O.o so different!

  • BATTLE ROYALE NO.1 EVER!

  • Silence of the Lambs

  • where the fuck are godfather and scarface?!

  • In your opinion?

Well your opinion is fucking great,

love how you included some real gems from world cinema and not just from hollywood.

  • where is faith club ?

  • @MrLittle123456789

    THE RULES OF FAITH CLUB

Rule 1: you DO talk about Faith Club to everyone

Rule 2: you must sneer pitifully at all those who are following the wrong faith.

Rule 3: Let your "seeking," therefore be in that which is your own, and from those who are your own, and concerning that which is your own, etc.

Rule 4: There is NO rule 4.

Rule 5: try not to get drawn into semantic debates with any unbelievers who are clearly more familiar with the holy text than yourself.

    Rule 6: Pray.

  • @sybyly rule 7: shut the fuck up.

  • @Thevide0123

no, you're really not getting it....shutting the fuck up would clearly be a violation of Rule 1. Amen.

  • @MrLittle123456789 lol how did you end up typing "faith club"

  • WHERE THE FUCK IS PULP FICTION GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

  • @airHaakon get over yourself he just put the movies that he likes nd everybody got a rite to their own opinion if u dont like it make ur own fuckin list

  • Comment removed

  • @MsJilsephonie I dont need to, I just look at Imdb top 250 movies of all time like any sane person would do it isnt perfect but its ten times more accurate than this

  • @airHaakon

I like Pulp Fiction because of the foot massage scene (foot fetish ftw).

  • maybe he hasn't seen it

  • 4:45, Messi.

  • michael clayton is one of my favs

  • motherfucker pulp fiction is and will remain no 1 foreever

  • nice list..ur taste is just like me :-)

  • Why does everyone seem to forget 'The secret garden' loved that movie

  • After looking at your list again I must say you are very narrow-minded. Where's the diversity? Where are some older movies? deniro? tarantino? any classics? audrey hepburn? you basically listed a whole lot of very overrated 'Best Picture' movies since 1990 with Forrest Gump the most overrated. When you're listing in alpha order, you should not list movies starting with 'The' together.

  • shrek looks well about place lol but i love it anyho :)

  • Nice list, seem many of them, downloading 13 more :) Thank you.

  • @abccbb piratebay?

  • time to whore myself so go watch the vid on my page of my 50 fave movies

  • decent list

  • @93MickyD1 : again, where did I say that ALL older films are better than ALL newer films? I didn't. I just said that time HELPS A FILM GET GREAT. Never said anything about "all older films are better than newer films".

  • @93MickyD1 : I never said they are ALL better. I said time HELPS.

  • @93MickyD1 : Unfortunately, "how good the film is" takes time. The longer the film is out there, the more people have seen it, and the more people have seen it, the bigger impact it has on fans/critics/directors/etc, and hence the greater it is.

  • Ahahahah most of the movies you mention, are just nice movies to spend a night with, they are definitely not art as cinema is supposed to be. When you come to the best movies all the time, you MUST include at least three movies from the best director all the time. Kubrick, ever heard of him? Clockwork orange, Full Metal Jacket, 2001?

  • @bricicio true, true, true

  • if ur gonna have an animated film on here its gotta be toy story or maybe the lion ling. theyre better than shrek. in my opinion

  • @laker10591 shrek is amazing man

  • where is the godfather, scarface, etc...u suck!!!|

  • yeah obviously there was no movie industry before 1980. of all time? are you fuckin kidding me? the godfather, chinatown, the entertainer, the general(buster keaton) reflections in a golden eye treasure of sierra madre, etc. your "opinion" dont mean shit. these are the the best movies you've seen, period. you fucking dolt.

  • FALTA SOYLENT GREEN! Y ALGUNAS OTRAS

  • leon, the deer hunter and into the wild for sure, but did you miss blood dimond, enemy at the gate and pulp fiction. lord of the rings too............tut tut.

  • youtube ruined this video

  • TDK hands down.

  • Someone spends hours of their time creating a video we can all enjoy and learn from, and then these google bitches mute and destroy it.

    Shame on you google.

  • omg ppl stfu. it was in HIS OPINION

  • 2001 space odyssey!

  • Oh C'mon...people nowadays complain that the 80's was the age of the greatest films ever introduced. Really?...Listen kids, If you really want to see the greatest films ever made, Go watch Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver or Gone with the wind. ;) Or if you one of those kiddies who aren't patient at all, and want nothing but non-stop--over the top--action. Then stick to your Micheal Bay obsessions. Or watch a REAL action man at work like Jackie Chan. ;)

  • 1. Great Movies and about 90% i would chouse same !

    2. Private Ryan ? ( is a typical us propaganda movie who just shows us the USA and how great they are ( lol ) cant be your true !

    3. Bourne Ultimate ? A cheep us Copy of an great 5 Houer Movie with same name and Christoph Chamberlain. Never !

    4. You was usesing the Soundtrack of The Godfather , but why you was not usesing the Movie , dont you think its one of the best movies ever made ?

But thx fo the nearly perfect mix :)

  • did you just skip an entire decade, there were lots of great important films in the 80's

  • @YuichiTaira lets see... he named "Das Boot," "Dead Poets Society," "Elephant Man"... did you miss those?

  • I now is very dificult make this list, but you forgot very important movies: The God Father (parts 1 and 2), A Clockwork Orange, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Dark Night.... Movies like Saving the private ryan musn´t be in this list body, the production is good, but the history es holy crap, is like :"USA is the best country in the world".... well, is my opinion... bye!

  • Very nice list my friend. You only missed five from my own list...Silence of the Lambs, Pulp Fiction, Amelie, Shining and Cool Hand Luke.

  • The Excorcist part was creepy.

  • this list is shit! The Crow, Casino, Raging Bull, Carlitos Way, Godfather, Goodfellas, ect.

  • @SoCalxHeartbreaker cmon man, Robert Deniro is in 4 of the 6 movies you mentioned here. Maybe the videomaker was using a broader scope when he made this list... movies that don't involve gangsters are good too, ya know

  • I've seen 28/50

  • I saw Lilja 4-ever when I was a lot younger, I'm talking 5 years(ish) ago. THANK GOD I FOUND IT HERE! You have no idea how many people I've asked about it.

  • Pulp Fiction is my top favorite. Leon: The Professional is my 2nd. ^_^

  • to put king kong 2005 and to do not put the godfather it means u don't understand a shit

  • leon the best movie of all times

  • tearjerker movies :D

  • the best movie is the pianist (2002) touched my heart very much even if i'm a muslim and the movie is about Jewish people.

  • @magrabifromAntwerp So what you are saying is you instinctively don't like the jews? I appreciate your honesty, but seriously, doesn't that strike you as odd that you have to say that to some how make it more credible? That is like a white racist saying I think Tyler Perry is funny, and I'm white. You obviously have some sore feelings towards them, or at least you think you should (culturally).

  • sick list man, shrek and panic room sux ass, usual suspects and shindlers list are godly. but really good

  • Almost every is shit.

  • how old are you man? im impressed. a good list of movies..or are you like 50 years old ; D

  • the godfather

    lord of the rings

    Jurassic park

    aliens

    back to the future

  • This would be a decent list if if it was titled, "Top 50 movies over the past three decades". Despite odd choices like passion. Its lacking classics like Hitchcock for it to be "all time".

  • definitely Leon.. that haunting soundtrack
