@2bigtit grab an RC8.2e roller off of ebay if you can and use that car as your basis, the rc8.2e has better steering , lower profile CG and the chassis is exteneded 3mm for better high speed handling. plus all the alum. goodies that lighten it up like cvd's and driveshafts are superior!! if you can find a competent machinist that can mill a carbon fiber chassis for it, do it!!! it will shave over 4 ounces off the total weight and make it a rocket!!! also change the diff n pinion gears n lower

@chaddythepimp1973 the ratio of the front n rear diffs! another thing not a lot of people dont know (thank GOD) is that the hpi 2350 alphastar motor has a huge rotor magnet and is a torque monster!!! you can gear up as big as you can go with mod1 gears and the motor stays pretty kool; it will pull the ratio no problem!! it has the X0-1's rotor in it from castle and is insane!!my friends have been getting speeds of over 105-110mph on 6S and acceleration much better than the X0-1 by 2 seconds!!

@chaddythepimp1973 get an ofna straight shaft from a dirt oval buggy and been using 36t spur gears while using 25/26t mod 1 pinions for those speeds.~ I hope this helps Bigtit. good luck and let me know how it goes!!

@chaddythepimp1973 make sure you use either a tekinRX8 ESC or a castle 1/5th scale ESC to handle the power, OR if you can get one grab a castle X0-1's ESC MMExtreme to handle 200 amps

@chaddythepimp1973 i will check that out Thanks. My next project is to get that XO-1 because of the size... i will put a Castle 2650 on 6s lipo.. And the Hit over 100mph in 300ft. so many people don't like the car cause they can't do It... like we do..

@showrider99 XTR compund tires at those speeds around 2 weeks of running on n off maybe 3 times a day. now ofna foams in red dot(extra hard) I've gotten months out of them look for ofna 8th scale buggy foams on ebay and grab yourself up a set or 2, they stick like glue and handling is pretty awesome! if you buy the foams, dont forget to adjust your suspension and use hard springs and raise the shock oil weight from 30wt to around 80-90 wt it makes the buggy handle like an on road car! goodluck!

hey man rember me i finally almost have enuf money for a brand new one i got 600 i need 750 to get one and all the electronics a good controller battery and charger i am almost there unless i find a used one of course there are no good deals for a used one right when my bday comes they are all before it but there will be another if not ill get a new one. but great video love it hope myn is as fast.

@2bigtit oh I'm not trying to get a true speed, just bashing around Bro. the speeds are 61mph uphill and 68mph down, not looking for records here but I should have a video where it does go a little 1 or 2% uphill grade towards the end of my run @ a radared 73mph, and that was with a bad motor, unfortunately I sold my radar gun after that so I dont have the means to radar any future speed runs. maybe next year... speed costs big mula and I already spent close to $500 on alum/carbon fbr upgrades

@2bigtit ok I think I understand now, lol I'm just bashing Bro. if I wanted to break some serious records, I'd whip out my RC8Be, throw my RC8.2 alum. driveshafts, custom fabbed carbon fiber chassis, carbon fiber ft. n rr. shock towers, throw my mamba max pro on 50 degree's pf timing using a 25t pinion/46t spur and my thunder racing 60C 6000mah 25.2v of screaming power with my teking 3450kv T8 motor and break around 105mph and then watch as my foams n center diff; disintegrate. done it once B4

@2bigtit I'm not worried about top speed bigtit, this is just a bashing session and the radar'd speed up is 63mph and down is 67-68mph depending when I left off. I'm out of the top speed run business for now until I get a bunch of money together to make myself an X0-1 beater which is totall possible with the right parts

@Kole208 They are out there but sometimes you might have to pay what you can get them for brand new, they dont lose value like other RC cars cause they are such a worthy buggy, I had mine before this one a yearm replaced all of the wore out parts and put a new chassis and so on on it and it sold for $50 less then what I bought it for brand new!! so Good luck my friend, they are out there but hard to find, I think itd be best to join th tower hobbies super saver club and just buy new....

@Photo314159 thanks man!! just think, thats with just a 3100kv novak motor using only a 15T pinion gear!! Actually with my 5000kv hv pro motor using a 23T pinion and 50 degree's of timing on the MMP ESC I got it finallly upto 100 mph!! actually 102 mph to be exact with a bushnell speed gun, but with the crappy camera angle and nobody helping me video, all you saw literally was a flash of colors lol....... if you've seen my other high speed run 72-73mph; you can see what I'm talking about.
