Their modus operandi was eliminationist. They wanted to eliminate any other voices to be heard. There was nothing intellectual about their display. In fact it was profoundly toxic. They wanted to shut down debate & in a way it was a fascist display. Where's American democracy & discourse? What is this radical conservatism? Is it to shut down debate & eliminate any other voice? Its poisonous to democracy. Feel free to call it a fascist moment in CR history.

The event ran over 2 hours & the College Republicans have 1:19sec of what they think is footage beneficial to their cause. Yikes....I would say try harder but, this really is as good as its gonna get.

Max's speech was factual and well cited. Yet, the CR showed little tolerance for political freedoms.

Also the video is edited at the end to make the black speaker's crack remark to seem in response to the woman's question about fascism, but the protesters with signs aren't there indicating that his remark was earlier during the discussion. Keep on Truckin'

apparently UCR doesn't even have a college republican presence on campus and those people with signs came from other colleges or areas.

The moderator for the event made it clear in the beginning that a Republican was asked to attend but said no. Also, you guys could have offered to be part of that panel instead of marching in with your signs.
