At 1:11 you can see the car only traveles 25 to 30 km/h (15 to 20 miles) and then they speed up the film. US or european crash tests of the same car look very different.

I don't trust C-NCAP. Speed of impact is questionable, tested cars are more likely than not manipulated and not comparable to those on market. Even if these cars menage to get stars on Euro NCAP, how do we know the Chinese manufacturers will stick to the same specifications for marketed cars. Who is fooled by that? Chinese buyers? The Chinese public? Sorry, the western world is not so easily manipulated. Also, the high speed side camera looks like its only less than half as many frames as needed to see the deployment of the side airbag at impact.
