Regarding the years Larry David and Julia Dreyfus were on SNL: Those were the Dick Ebersol years, Lorne Michaels was gone and Ebersol re-tooled the show by hiring known actors and comedians and completely altered the show's dynamic. If Lorne hadn't come back there would be no SNL.
Wow no wonder Jerry Sienfeld is so sweet and down to earth, he really knew what its like to struggle financly , thats very rehreshing :) I love SIenfeld :)
the fact that they did what they felt was right and didn't do what the network were demanding them to do have made the show as good as it is, this is often the case in all walks of life, that's how new creative scientific ground breaking theories and discoveries become made and shows and agreat people. gotto get free from being a square who follows the rules, and be a lateral thinker and open minded person

You guys should watch inside the actor's studio with julia louis drefys. She hated SNL everybody were assholes and there were a lot of drugs floating around that set. The only good thing was that she befriended Larry david.
