Then I can do nothing but deduce that you've never actually read the mangas Gonzo makes anime adaptations of.

Some of the most notable examples include Black Cat, Bokurano, NHK, Gantz, and the list goes on.

I don't recall ever calling Saki a failure of anime. I just said I had my hopes down due to the fact that Gonzo was in charge of producing and animating it. I've watched only the first episode, so I can't judge as of yet if it's a good adaptation or not..
