The town deserved best picture,director,cinematograph­y,supporting actor and best editing.It got one. Critics awards nominated it for picture n director at least. Renner got 3d place by National Board of review.Somehow,this movie was punished for what was on paper.The story might be cliche but we havent seen it this good in...ever.Superb direction n great cast(Not Hamm)n the academy has another rule...no matter how good an Affleck film is,it can never get more then a supporting actornomination.

Just bought it today, meant to go see it in theatres but never had time in my schedule...The movie is flat out amazing! Awesome actors and plot and perfect combination of suspense, drama, and romance. Its a movie done up right without "excessive" swearing and smut. Very original, the trailer really caught my eye and im glad I bought it! Go see it, youll be glad you did, trust me.
