I would recommend putting a 90's BMW M-Power V12 on it. F1 used a BMW V12 70-something with bespoke racing valves, so maybe you can get a genuine F1 engine, or close to it. :)
The BMW engine used at the time wasnt merely lifted out of an existing BMW to save a dollar. It was pretty much custom made. Now days there would be no point going with an older engine. Much more realistic to go with any modern V8. Of the LS range like any other kit-car. The engines are cheap and available and there are parts out there to put them at any state of tune.
@Janusha You mean the S70, which is a redesign from the M70?
The fact they've used it on the BMW V12 LM and LMR series is proof that it's not that uncommon. It's just a racing engine redesigned from the M70, which is the common engine for the old BMW V12 series. Just give it an upgrade on the carburators and intakes, and exhaust, and it'll close up the match. ;3
@ArcanineKing The first gen m3 in my opinion is the better choise, not only is it cheaper, but it goes from 0-60 in 5.5 sec's and that is in a heavier 5 seater ... but yeah its up to him, btw i see what you did there ;)
its fabrication , custom made kit car u see the interior its all made off a donor car this job is gonna cost you a price of a brand new car i would do it tho. Mclaren F1 is a dream car to me Fake or not that car is truly amazing piece of art and automotive design Prototype replica or not! ill take a fake one i dont care it will be in my house garage and never get driven just sumthing to look at! Precise Artwork
Very nice.
