Now I'm working on becoming a film maker and I thought these movies were okay. BUT if I were to do an AVP movie which I would love to do one day.. First off I'd take it out of modern day, Id base it closer to the books/comic books. It would be in the future in space, like a colony of some sort. I never understood why the writer/director/producers didn't use the AVP source material from the Darkhorse comics, i.e. set in an off-world human colony far from earth. They had gold in their hands and the ruined the franchise. Now few people will ever know how good the comics were. I said it once I'll say it again, AVP-R is so bad that even if you like bad movies you'll still hate this film. When you press play all you will see is a black, dark, murky screen of nothing! The biggest let down as a loyal fan to a beloved franchise that deserves so much more than those two lazy and careless directors. If AVP3 is made DO NOT get the Brothers Strause to direct it. AVP2 was terrible. I mean a lot of people say AVP1 was bad, but this one was way worse. Everytime there was a fight you couldn't see anything because the retards made it extremely dark. In the final fight between the Predalien(or whatever) and the predator you couldn't even see what was happening.

However the predator that was is this movie was badass, at least the parts that you saw...
