  • V8 i enn 935 hmmmm :-(((((

  • I changed the car back to 100% originality. It was sold years ago so quit with the commenting. I changed it back and sold the car so it's not my problem anymore.

  • YUK!!! nice way to destroy a Porsche.

  • Whats next? Lambo doors and neon lights?

  • You are right, TheWupper, chrome SUCKS! I am an american in my late 30S, and I never understood it either!

  • blasphemy!!!!! Too much money, with NOTHING else to do OBVIOUSLY!!! sad, very sad...A TRUE PIECE OF ART...WAS a true piece of art anyway.

  • Just tacky. Leave it to a fucking Ohioan to ruin a car and think he did the world a service. Nice Honda interior. OHIO SUCKS!

  • That´s not a porsche no more...

  • What a disgrace. What a way to ruion a great car RIP

  • I don't wish to be rude, as you seem like a nice guy, but I was so shocked when you raised the hood. Oh my god, why ? Did the original flat 6 engine blow up, or what ? Also, why do Americans chrome their wheels ?

  • oh yeah the fuch's look fake too

  • oooo closes automatically. haha.

sadly, the V8 drops your value quite a bit and hurts the sound.

    runs good though.

  • Hope the original engine is sitting in your garage and comes with the car.. When you can get 550+hp out of a flat 6 I must ask why. I'd rather keep my 930 German and build a Colbra kit car than do this. Put a zork on a 930 if you want "amazing sound".. that said live and let live.. enjoy.

  • I absolutely covet 911 slopes, but I really cringe at the engine mod. Sad.

    Beauttiful car, however.

  • the car wasn't designed to have a heavy v8 in it!

  • I usually don't bother making comments on cars like this, but to say "this car has a history that other cars can only dream of" is utter nonsense. It's not a history that any Porsche would dream of. Fair play it's your car and you can do with it what you like. But IMO, it's had it's heart ripped out, and is not nearly as desireable now as it would have been when it left the factory. It's well cared for but once upon a time it wasn't..

  • What kind of V8 is it? If I went through the trouble of putting an American small-block in a 930 I'd go with something unique like a 351 Cleveland or 408 stroker Chrysler.

  • Gorgeous car, but I have to agree the V8 conversion is a drawback. One thing to do that to my 914 with the Renegade conversion..but a 930 slantnose? Does sound beautiful though, just not pure 930 sound.

  • why put a V8 in a porsche 930 slant ? :| ..... that isn't a porsche anymore , great looking porsche but that V8 :| ....... too bad

  • Why would you put cast iron in the back of a porsche 930 slant????

  • beautiful, cant beat a nice porsche

  • YEah - kept mine all Porsche as well - highly modified - 580 lb of torque at rw. V8 Conversion? Ouch. Lost all value etc. Well still a great looking car. Too bad about the conversion. Badgermtn - how about a video of yours?

  • Yeah, been meaning to shoot a video one of these days. Nothing special, just your basic '87 930 with enough mods to push the envelope of CIS fuel delivery capabilities.

Your car seems to be a monster tire eater. Very nice. You should hang out with many of us on either Pelican or Rennlist 930 discussion forums...share your knowledge.

  • Nice V8 conversion, beautiful car, but I'm a purest and have kept my 930 a true 930 so as not to affect it's originality or value. Pushing 400 HP with modifications. Would be interesting to go sid-by-side against yours. Bet I would win :-)
