Almost all of them smack the water when they take their strokes. I've never seen so many swimmers, especially in a championship like this, do that. Maybe a few per race at the Speedos, but not here. They really have great stroke power though. I have a swim meet in a few hours today, maybe I can take some pointers from them! lol, Yesterday I swam the 400IM in 5:51.07 it was really awesome!
And they have they're arms like that because thats the style for Sprints. They Swing they're arms to have a higher stroke rate, and its hard to have a high stroke rate with elbows bent
