My project will be meant to be educational, so it'd be awesome if I had some young kids checking it out too. Travelogue videos will be different from the project itself, but they'll be useful for spreading the word, building hype, etc...
Thanks - I love the hat too! :D
I'm usually not a hat guy, but it's growing on me.
It was pretty simple that night...noodles, ham, and all-purpose seasoning. ^^
I added kimchi the next time.
Not exactly carrying the tools for gourmet cuisine. :P
I'd say you can get to a good camping around within about an hour of Tokyo. There's gotta be nice spots around Chichibu and Okutama area. Also, the area around Mt. Tsukuba is pretty nice.
The burner is totally AWESOME! It can use any kinda fuel - even unleaded gasoline. :D
unleaded gasoline.............WhAaaaaaaT?! That is beyond sugoi.
sugoi+
I still have never even eaten Kimchi haha, on my list of things to do when I'm in asia though.
Ham is good, and that would be really funny if you went camping and some people were doing gourmet nearby. I wonder what Iron Chefs cook when they go camping?
Hey! nice intro! I'm totally not leaving you this messages so you send me a message with a few tutorial links because I can't find them on google since I can't figure out what the name of the effect is. No, not at all.
But glad to know there are people that think that takes away all the fun. That means not *everybody* will just use the exact same intro as me. :P
I'm just working out how to do things at this point - timings, etc... I'll create a good format that I'll use for MANY travel vlogs to come next year. Wanna find what format is best before settling on one. I like the short-but-memorable intro concept, with short vids. I might stick with this...
I find myself watching fewer and fewer long videos these days 'cause I can't get around to seeing everyone's vids if I do. Even if it's someone I really like, I usually end up moving on after about 3 mins. So I thought it'd be a good idea to keep 'em about that long. :P
Sitting around a lake with about 200 beers works for me too, but not on this trip. I spent the last night in Aizu-Wakamatsu sucking down sake with a zainichi Korean UFC fighter though. ^^

I'm going to assume that people in Japan probably mostly camp in July and August! Off season is always the way too go!

Yeah - I think the dead center of summer is the busy time. It's great in Autumn though!
Just like Kyoto is awesome in December.
Thanks for watching man. ^_^

Sure - why not include 15yo, I guess.

Holy crap that burner looked AWESOME! How was that sketti? I really hope you had more than just noodles.
How long does it take to get to good camping areas from Tokyo via the Shinkansen?

The sketti was great!

Type "Motion 3" into Google.
Then go to the Apple homepage. Press "buy now".
Finito.
I really just totally ripped off the template that comes with the software...
But I'm sure the guy that made it really appreciates your compliment! :D
ToLokyo 2 years ago
Meh... There's even motion 4 now. I bet they released it 2 minutes ago when you were typing "motion 3". And tomorrow Motion 5 comes out.
I thought It'd be 2 hours of layer merging and 3D rendering. :(
They just took away all the fun.

hahaa dude, the first half all I was thinkin was "don't get run over by them cars behind you!"
damn, that looks fun. I went "camping" a few weeks ago, but that was just sitting around a lake polishing off 200 beers.
I dig that you are cutting this trip up into smaller videos. Just my thoughts...

Thanks for your input Cakes!
