  • I dunno, my mom lost weight while pregnant with me until the very end when she gained about 10 lbs. In pictures she only looks big in her stomach, where obviously she had to grow. All the weight she did gain was equal to the amount I weighed plus the estimated amount of water weight. I don't think it's healthy to gain a lot of weight. As long as you continually eat healthy and a little extra I think you'll be fine!

  • @xxbeautybabesxx I agree!! :D

  • I have a question... When they say you gain 30 pounds? Do they mean you have 30 pounds more in your ninth month of pregnancy or is it when you give birth, you have 30 pounds more than before??

  • Hi! It is 30 lbs in your ninth month, not 30 lbs remaining after you have the baby. Thanks!

  • Thanks, I'm pregnant and a little worried about it... But the most important now is baby and not my weight ;)

  • pensarecool- exercise and you can eat more! the right foods and in your calorie limits though...

  • 2500cal is ok if you are exercising for a average height woman, I'm only 5'1 and I eat 1900 a day but thats with exercising (and im a healthy 49kg).

  • That is nonsense. Most all American women have plenty of extra fat, so you certainly don't need to gain 30# when a baby only weighs 7#. Keeping it off is certainly easier than taking it off later.

  • an extra 300 calories a day is all that is needed for most of your pregnancy...personally I am 5'8 170 when I got pregnant and I stayed there on about 1500 calories day, for me to consume 2500 would be rediculous. Eat healthy foods when you are physically hungry. simple.

  • I just want to point out that 2500 calories is ALOT of food, ladies! If you are a normal weight than yeah you need to eat that much, cause you need to gain alot. If you're overweight, not as much! Like 200 extra calories a day. Google it.

  • OH that&TBPSQUOs cool. haha I hope you can make more videos. I like your videos a lot. haha Thanks again for making them. This is too dope

  • Even though I'm not a woman or any close to having a child of my own I found this short video very informative. This certainly is a valuable addition to Youtube.

  • I knew it was 20 pounds but I did not why thanks for sharing

  • aw man,

i wish i had an excuse to eat that many calories in a day.
