In regards to the idea that Tool/Maynard is opening up and stepping out into the light. I think 1.) They understand that it is unavoidable in this new digital-internet rules the world-age. And 2.) 10,000 Days was a personable album. Not so much mystique. It's their rock'n'roll/blues record. And because of all that they are 3.) having fun with their careers, and it's obvious. They're reaching out to their fans, and I appreciate it.

This was truly an amazing show, I was up nice and close for this one and man does this band know how to perform. Nice and loud but still crystal clear. By far the best show myself and friends have seen. I would like to see any band top this unique and incredibly mind blowing performance, I personally do not think it is possible. ive seen you all perform twice - once was a 20 hour journey from TN to NH. the second time was almost a year later i believe only 30 minutes from my house at the Desoto Civic Center. funny how they finally came somewhere so close to my home after i had taken a road trip to see them. i cant even explain the feeling of excitement i get just from watching this video. i cant explain the impact your music has had on my life. your existence is priceless to me. i hope one day to have a similar impact.

If you really want to get to know them, it is rather easy. Listen to their music, any artistic thing they have done outside of music, and check out there interviews. You will get a sense of who they are. But you have to look at it all in an unbiased way. If you don't, you just may not get them. Or, they may not just be for you, nothing wrong with that.
