Great song.I loved the groove. It had all .The Seattle rush ruined great music.I love the cover of Hard Rock Candy(Off Wayne World). They blew the original away.
@ak6702 seattle rush? you mean like forced entry, alice in chains, and soundgarden? yeah, they sucked. they didn't do anything for heavy music at all.
One of the all-time great cover songs. I'd have to think that even Tom Waits was diggin' it. Bulletboys were special, superior in ability to most of their LA contemporaries, and I'm so glad the music can live on here. I remember them on ABC in Concert back around 1992 I believe, they only got one song on TV whereas Poison and Slaughter got several. That one song was Hang On St. Christopher and they buried the other bands with that one song:)
Freakshow is one sick motherfuckin' badass album! Marq Torien has balls! I get goosebumps when I hear those screams in Say your prayers, Do me raw, Thrill that kills, Hell Yeah, etc. BulletBoys RULES!!!!
Killer choice for a cover song (Tom Waits) and a great job pulling it off. Freakshow was a great album that I thought deserved to be huge. Very eclectic and talented band with much more to offer than most of their LA contemporaries. I always believed this should have been a HUGE song for them. Long live BB's!
@Marqeteer duh! this WAS huge for them....that's why you and i even know who they are at all.
not to mention that they had ted templeton convinced....that's GOT to say something for their talents.
I was in highschool...i remember, this was about six months before Pearl Jam popped a hole in the bottom of that barrel and watched the whole hair band thing go down the drain.
if you even KNEW what a hair band was, you felt silly around everyone else.
I love this song. They took a really cool original and turned it onto their own!! Awesome beat and cool lyrics. They dont make music like this anymore.
This is one BAD fuckin' song.....and the video ROCKS also. Thumbs up!!

The dude at 0:07 reminds me of Peter Steele from the Type O negative in the video for Black No. 1.

Sounds like he's channeling Bill Murry from Caddy Shack in the vocals: "Oh Mrs. Crane, you naughty monkey... Bark like a dog for me!"

Fucking GREAT song.
Unexpectedly cool that he didn't go for the "big scream" in it--the mark of a confident, mature singer.

Bulletboys were written off too easily. Marq may be a bit odd to watch, but if you just listen, the music was as solid as it got.
