Novice is an extremely difficult class to play as-- they have no actual skills and their special attacks all use up their already-low HP AND SP-- so you have to prove yourself first. Beat the game, from stage 1 to stage 8, with all six normal classes. The EX stages DO NOT need to be completed, and gender doesn't matter. You can use 5 males and 1 female, all male, all female, 2 males and 3 females, whatever as long as you use all 6 classes. Watch the credits for each one to be counted.

again, rbo does not have pvp, that video is show the effect of using pacnyx, monster bcome human... to unlock novice, u need to beat the main 8 stages with the 6 class, acolyte,swordman,thief,merchan­t,magician,archer. then u will unlock novice immediately

It's not a video edit, and it isn't vs mode. They edited the game files using tools on the site that you can download the game. They edited the files so that they can play monsters, or that you can fight character classes as if they were monsters.

You can use the xbox 360's controller by plugging it into the comp. Other than that, most people use their keyboards to play :P

hmm everyone dont know this ah well wankelvin use pacnyx to edit the monsters into humans then uses hex(i think) to add some lifes and the pvp mode hmm RBO means = ragnarok battle OFFLINE offline so no pvp mode but multiplayer can(the one you will play with your friends in the same computer)

do a dbl jump and hit enemy with b button. dbl tap left or right to do an aerial jump, then at the last second face the opposite direction of where u air jumped to ( ex. if u dbl tapped the left push right almost immediatly). then when u turn hit B again. then repeat. practice on the giant monsters like willows(trees) or Golems(Desert Giants).

my mistake. u dont need the file itself on..just go to config and setup controls for 3 ppl. then when u get to the screen when the guy asks how many, hold whatever button 1 is for on each person's setting: example. mine is the a button for player one and L for player 2. hold down the A then push and hold L. then 2 people can play.

Why not try and use your brain? There are three slots on the top, one per person. Also, all of the stages which are shown in the video are expansions released from French Bread. He could attack other characters because of PACNyx and screw around with the game. And the PVP mode is made with some video editing. And don't try to act cool on the Internet by flaming. Seriously, it's pointless.
