@paulrox177 im being facetious. time signaturs arent just things you can or can't play. theyre just ways to count WHAT youre playing. i can play a straight 7/8 groove, but thats totally different than a 6/8 with a 1/8 tagged on, not to mention its completely different depending on the actual content of the drums. 1/4th notes in 7/8 vs 1/32nd notes in 7/8, for example. placement also matters. so, like i said. drumming isnt as simple as can or cant.

@ISAxFCKINxRIOS yea dude i know all of that, i not trying to sound cocky or anything like that but yea, its simple. if you want, on my video of me doing a drum solo i do some small parts (not much) of different time signatures, you could check it out if you want.

@paulrox177 haha no, dude, for the most part i understand how time signatures work. ive seen your drum videos, theyre pretty good, but you should add some variety in volume and add deeper pockets. you work your toms so fast and your quads are pretty clean, but to keep a solo interesting you have to spread things out a bit, add some low points, or else it just sounds conjested.

It's easy. Count 3....then count 4...or count 4 then count 3 or 2/3 or 3/2 or 2/3/4/3 or anything you want. We have lots of tunes with odd times...and it's not obvious if your good.
