  • NIce i got it when i first seen that ad now i have the iPhone 4 an awaiting the iPod Touch 4 to come out an i Got The iPad 3G when it came out too so I'm Happy, you know what i guest Money does make you Happy that go's out to all the Poor Losers out there!

  • niceee X)

  • i love the iPhone 3G, i like the fact that its simplistic, that if youve owned an ipod you already know how to activate it and how to get music movies and games on it, its the iPhone 3G....

    dude thats lame

    i know...i know...

  • I love this advert, it's so cool.

  • Well I won't comment on the N96, but I do wish Apple were a bit less arrogant, not only in their ad campaigns but in general. Sure, the iPhone is good, but they're claiming they are the best and can only be beat by themselves in the mobile industry. Even if this were true (which it isn't), such a campaign stating this is of poor taste, as bad as those car commercials deeming X car as being forged by Thor's hammer and powered by Zues' lightning.

  • The only downside is th

    e camera

coz on the old 1 its 5 mpx

on this its only 2 mpx

  • old one never had 5 mpx

itz alwayz been 2 mpx :P

  • Yeh your right.

  • From the description of this video

"Apple claims that the new 3G connection will be roughly 2.8 times as fast as the Edge wireless connection on the original iPhone."

2.8 * EDGE speed is just 700kbit/s at max. That's slow as hell. It is not even 1Mbit/s.

"The company also suggested that the new iPhone would run faster than other 3G handsets,"

Nokia N95 can transfer 3.6Mbit/s when you are using 3G HSDPA network. That's several times faster than what Apple promises for the iPhone 3G.

  • Nope you are wrong.... All HSDPA (3.5g) phone can transfer 3.6mbit/s.... In real world testing you are lucky if you get 1.2mbit/s... It really matters where you are... Also EDGE is around 250kbit/s....

So 2.8x faster is real wrong expectations

iphone is faster than the Nokia N95 because of it's faster processor and it's web browser renders faster....

  • It does not matter what you THINK. Just look at what Aopple says on their official pages. they clearly say that iPhone 3G is 2.4 times faster than EDGE. That's even slower than what was already said on this thread.

"In real world testing you are lucky if you get 1.2mbit/s."

Well here in Finland fastest 3G connection you can get is 5Mbit/s. I can get easily 2Mbit/s using my nokia N95 and my 2Mbit/s 3G-connection.

  • There was a iPhone review in some IT-magazine some time ago. I don't remeber right now what it was. Just use google and search that article. Anyway they discovered wery slow 3G-speed when they used iPhone3G. When they used other 3G-capable phones they got several times faster transfer speed using the same 3G-connection.

  • 2.4x faster than EDGE is for AT&T (America).... In America we have very slow data network compared to the rest of the world.... So 1.2mbp/s is pretty fast! :)

  • I have both N95 and iPhone 3G...

iPhone 3G surfs web a bit faster than Nokia. Also, the fact that it's a full browser makes it a bit better...

  • u can give me as many thumbs down as u want....nokia still kills apple.

  • GranRossonero

the old iphone does have video recording and mms and anything othere phones have just hack it and this new iphone3g will sooner or later be hacked

  • No it does not have video recording, nor mms.

  • "the old iphone does have video recording and mms"

No it does not have video recording, nor mms.

  • ill agree with u on the video but mms and all that good stuff can be rolled out in the 2.0 software update . . . and the n96 is really bulky and the styling isnt as good as the iphones . . . same with its simplicity . . .

  • wow haters.....nokia has been makin phones for ever and apple just started lastyear....guess who has more experience???....the N96 is goin to KILL the 3G iphone....dont hate...evreyone has their own opinion.

  • What has experience to do with features? You are saying that apple is not experienced in mobile computing?

Anyway, my objection on iPhone is that everyone present it as a high-tech smartphone, but it is a low-tech phone with a nice UI and input system...

  • You are right. Apple just broke recently broke the phone business's hymen. So why were they able to blow all these other shitty phones out of the water and convince so many people to become iphone users?

Nokia is a good company, but apple's strength lies in it's ability to give people reliability through simplicity and style.

    We'll see who kills who

  • GREAT VID!
