  • whats CP?

  • When I watched this video, I had tears in my eyes because I was like watching myself 16 years ago. I have spastic hemiplegia CP. I didn't learn to walk until I was approximately 5 years old. I began walking a front wheeler walker. To gain more independence, my doctors gradually transfered me to cane, like the ones that are in the video. I would commonly switch between the walker and the cane for mobility. However, in the summer before my 4th grade year, I learned to walk independently.

  • She is making great progress, God bless you and your family. Our daughter is doing well too, battle CP

  • She's a strong little girl I'm in 7th grade and I have been helping girls and boys just like her for over 3 years since 4th grade I hope you the best of luck and when time get hard just remember you always have her (not in a creepy way :)

  • @illsen12345 i feel like at home when im around my own kind ...

  • How adorable! My daughet is 3 and has CP. Have you heard about Locomat therapy? It is designed to improve gait and pace for people with various neurological problems. It is a robot-based system at a Rehab institute in Chicago. Looks like your daughter could benefit from this. I wish you and your daughter all the best! She is just precious!

  • I know how this feels like wish i can meet this little girl cause some days i feel a lone with CP i dont see a lot of people with it

  • Your welcome their should be more awereness on the topic really, people really don't know. Please feel free to watch my documentry. Hope all is well

  • Thank you for your post, mdcwelsh24. It means a lot coming from someone who knows what it is like.

  • I just watched this she look like a fighter that's good it's taken me back to my childhood has someone living with a disability I can both relate and understand the struggle she's going though, it's so nice to see someone so willing to push themselves all that hard work will pay off.

Not only has this touched me but made me think about my childhood I take my hat off to her for working hard and to yourself.

  • aw pink crutches! thats one cute kid. hope she progresses well.
