My idea is this, our parent star (sun) is given this name for some reason or another. If you look up the word sun, definition of it, you will ONLY find just what you know from the time you are able to understand words. That the sun is our parent star. No other definition from those three letters. Now if you look up son, that should be quite apparent as to the outcome of that search as well. The name given to our "sun" originally WAS Christ. My idea is this, our parent star (sun) is given this name for some reason or another. If you look up the word sun, definition of it, you will ONLY find just what you know from the time you are able to understand words. That the sun is our parent star. No other definition from those three letters. Now if you look up son, that should be quite apparent as to the outcome of that search as well. The name given to our "sun" originally WAS Christ. Why call it Christ, then call it sun? explain that.....

Here credulity has been stretched beyond its breaking point. No doubt God has made Himself known through His creation. (Rom 1) This is reading far too much meaning into the text of scripture. For instance the Son coming on the clouds is alluding to Dan 7, and here clouds are used as a symbol of judgement against the nations. The fact other cultures have a Son of God comprehension only gives credibility to Christianity since it is a message of one God reaching out to the whole world.

There's probably some truth to this, but the zeitgeist producer's SUN=SON gaffe is ridiculous. The bible wasn't written in English. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, and the New Testament in Greek. English didn't even exist as a language until the middle ages. In ancient Greek, sun is helios and son is poulos. The other stuff about the apostles representing the zodiac and the resurrection representing the solstice makes sense, but he should have done his homework!

There are so many signs screaming at you and clues that Jesus is a sun god if you look closely.
Look at 1:50 the miracle of walking on water. The same can be said about turning water into wine, as the sun sets, lakes, rivers and oceans take on a rich red tone.
Same can be said about healing the blind. Of course at night or in darkness, mankind is blind. Yet when the sun rises (Jesus) we are cured.
Raising the dead is so obviously when we are asleep 'we are dead', the sun rises and wakes us.

I do not doubt that the bible and jesus' story is a personification of our astrology. In fact i blv it. There is too much scientific proof of who(what) jesus' 12 discpiles were (constellations) his crown of thorns (suns rays) and the 3 kings and everything that his resurrection n life is about. Ive posted so many comments wasting my time here. My job here is done. People, zeitgiest is bs and most scholars,historians,egyptologists know it. Alot of them have even seen the movie and said it was a lie. Theres no connection whatsoever to horus,etc. I suggest you look at "zeitgest refuted final cut". Behavioural neuro science provides understanding of mental illness of which spirit possession is one example. There is absolutley no evidence for the existence of demons or the supernatural, they exist only in the delusion on the believer.

@realdeal119 Yes it can. If you have 12 hours to spare I'd thouroughly recommend a course available on the internet from Stanford University by Professor Robert Sapolsky on behavioural neuroscience. You'll be surprised how much we know about the brain and how we form emotions and thought patterns. There is some even more exciting work in progress now that scanner technology has got to the point to be able to see specific neuron activity. More to come with benefits to treating dementia etc.
