I am taking a class called Music and Music Therapy. Our first assignment was to pick two orchestral instruments and write about them. I have always been a fan of chimes in general, but never knew that "tubular bells" fell into the percussion family. I stumbled upon this while researching, and you have really amazed me. I think this was an awesome performance!! :)
hey man, do you have some cool sheet music for a chimes solo you could share? i play them for my marching band and, since i have to play them, i better be good haha but i cant find music for them anywhere!
@JoeDolen Hey, I wish I could help you find sheet music for solo chimes but I've never actually seen any. I didn't have any music for this, just kind of made it up. Good luck though, and keep playing! Chimes RULE!
@yayromania yea, i might just write a little something cool seeing as no one i know, inclding our drumline instructors know where to find any chime music, but i coulld come up with something creative... thanks though, and nice performance btw..
