@Ashiets I paid $1,000 Canadian for my green nape lory Nikki and she was worth every penny! She is a darling bird. Lorys are wonderful pets! I am in Toronto, Canada.

I got a handraised lorikeet today for $150, I guess it's because they are pretty common in Australia. still really beautiful birds though

Nice one, mate. Yesterday, I went to a pet shop at Stockland Merrylands shopping centre and I saw this lovely rainbow lorikeet. Guess how much for the asking price for this prized tamed bird? A$495! What a bird! I wonder who will spend that much money on this bird and take it home? But for the person who will eventually buy it, may think it will be money well spent.
