I have Flip Mino HD and for money I payed for it it's impressive.

This shaking effect can be quite easily completely removed in VirtualDub so it's not that big of a problem.

Any lightweight camera that small will tend to be shaky- less mass, more movement.

A tip: use your free hand and lock it around the wrist of your camera hand. And always try to be deliberate and fluid when panning the camera. Wth a little practice, it will be second nature.

Also, there are small "steady cam" units that can be home-built or commercially made that work quit well.
